Two recent publications of NBT-India titled Bharatiya Bhasha Pariwar was released today by Prof. Raghuvendra Tanwar, Chairman, Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR), at Kaushal Bhawan, New Delhi. The two volumes — Bharatiya Bhasha Pariwar: A New Framework in Linguistics and Collected Studies on Bharatiya Bhasha Pariwar: Horizons and Perspectives — researched and prepared by Bharatiya Bhasha Samiti, have been published by National Book Trust, India.

Prof. Raghuvendra Tanwar noted that the books beautifully highlight how all Indian languages emerge from a single cultural tree that unites rather than divides.

Shri Chamu Krishna Shastry, Chairman, Bharatiya Bhasha Samiti, spoke about the concept of Bharatiya Bhasha Pariwar as a new perspective on the composition of Indian languages, aligned with the vision of NEP 2020.
Ms. Manmohan Kaur, Adviser (Cost) EBSH Languages, Ministry of Education, highlighted that each Indian language is vibrant and part of one family.
Shri Yuvraj Malik, Director, NBT-India, remarked that these volumes are not just books but cultural-philosophical documents offering a new framework for understanding Indian identity.

The event was also graced by Prof. Murlimanohar Pathak, Vice-Chancellor, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, and Prof. R. C. Sharma, noted linguist. 🇮🇳

NBT-India’s children’s wing – NCCL – hosted an engaging day of storytelling and literary exploration at Vishwa Bharti Public School, Noida. Storyteller Swati Goyal captivated the students of Class IV with the delightful tale of Babban Hajaam, conveying a message of self-love. This was followed by an interactive session with author Usha Chhabra, who shared her inspiring journey of becoming an author with Class V students. The budding writers enthusiastically learned about the creative writing process—from ideation to publication. The sessions left students inspired to read more, imagine freely, and express their thoughts creatively through stories of their own.
