Twisha Sharma, a 33-year-old model and actress, was found dead at her matrimonial home in Bhopal on May 12.

Her family has accused her husband and in-laws of dowry harassment, mental cruelty, and forcing her to abort during pregnancy. The Singh family has denied the allegations and claimed she struggled with drug addiction.

An FIR has been registered under sections related to dowry death, cruelty, and provisions of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

हिमाचल प्रदेश में लगातार हो रही भारी बारिश और भूस्खलन ने जनजीवन अस्त-व्यस्त कर दिया है। राज्य सरकार की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, अब तक ₹2600 करोड़ से अधिक का आर्थिक नुक़सान दर्ज किया जा चुका है। सड़कें टूट गई हैं, पुल बह गए हैं और सैकड़ों घरों को नुकसान पहुँचा है।

20 जून से शुरू हुए इस मानसून सीज़न में 317 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है और सैकड़ों लोग बेघर हो गए हैं। वर्तमान में 550 से ज़्यादा सड़कें बंद हैं, जिससे राहत और बचाव कार्यों में गंभीर बाधा आ रही है।

विशेषज्ञों का कहना है कि इतनी बड़ी तबाही से उभरने में राज्य को महीनों लग सकते हैं। वहीं, प्रशासन प्रभावित इलाकों में फंसे लोगों को सुरक्षित निकालने और आवश्यक सेवाओं को बहाल करने के लिए लगातार काम कर रहा है।

हिमाचल प्रदेश के बिलासपुर ज़िले में स्थित गोविंद सागर झील इन दिनों बुरी तरह प्रभावित है। सतलुज नदी से आने वाला बाढ़ का पानी इस झील में इकट्ठा होता है। 2025 की भारी बरसात और बाढ़ के कारण पानी का स्तर कई सालों बाद उतना बढ़ा है जितना लगभग 10 साल पहले हुआ करता था।

हालांकि पानी का स्तर बढ़ना प्राकृतिक प्रक्रिया का हिस्सा है, लेकिन सबसे बड़ी चिंता का विषय है झील में तैरता कचरा और गंदगी। स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि पिछले कुछ वर्षों से चार लेन और रेलवे निर्माण कार्यों के चलते पानी का स्तर कम रहा, लेकिन अब जब पानी बढ़ा है तो झील में गंदगी, प्लास्टिक और बदबू असहनीय हो गई है। आसपास रहने वाले लोग गंध और प्रदूषण से परेशान हैं, लेकिन प्रशासन की ओर से सफाई के कोई प्रयास नहीं किए जा रहे।

लोगों की मांग है कि जिला प्रशासन और नगर परिषद तुरंत सफाई अभियान चलाए और झील को प्रदूषण मुक्त करने के कदम उठाए।

DC Bilaspur से निवेदन है कि इस मामले को गंभीरता से लेते हुए जल्द से जल्द आवश्यक कार्रवाई की जाए।

हिमाचल प्रदेश में मानसून ने भारी तबाही मचाई है। 20 जून से अब तक 317 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है, जबकि 550 से अधिक सड़कें बाधित हैं। लगातार हो रही बारिश से भूस्खलन और बाढ़ जैसी स्थिति बनी हुई है, जिससे राहत और बचाव कार्यों में दिक़्क़तें आ रही हैं। राज्य सरकार ने प्रभावित इलाकों में अलर्ट जारी कर दिया है और ज़रूरी सेवाओं को बहाल करने की कोशिशें जारी हैं।

Torrential rains continue to batter Himachal Pradesh, triggering landslides, road collapses, flash floods and massive infrastructure damage. 795 roads, including two national highways, remain closed, while power and water supply lines lie crippled. The IMD has issued a red alert for Chamba, Kangra, and Mandi. Since June 20, the state has recorded 77 flash floods, 41 cloudbursts, 81 landslides, and over ₹2,394 crore in losses, leaving 156 dead and 38 missing. Relief operations are underway, but with schools shut, families stranded, and ropeways closed, the “Devbhoomi” looks more like a disaster zone this monsoon.
