दिल्ली : लाल किला ग्राउंड में आयोजित विश्वविख्यात लव कुश रामलीला के प्रेसिडेंट अर्जुन कुमार के अनुसार आज हमें रामलीला में पहले से राम भक्तों की भारी भीड़ होने का अंदाज था, इसी लिए हमने ग्राउंड में अधिक महिला और पुरुष बाउंसरों और वॉलेंटियर को तैनात किया।

अर्जुन कुमार के अनुसार आज लीला मंच पर शबरी से श्री राम की भेंट, राम सुग्रीव मित्रता, बाली वध, सीता जी की खोज, लंकिनी से भेंट, लंका में रावण सीता संवाद, अक्षय कुमार वध , रावण और हनुमान के बीच संवाद के बाद अंत में लंका दहन तक की लीला का मंचन किया गया| लंकेश की सोने की विशाल लंका धू-धू कर जलकर हुई राख के अवसर पर राम भक्तों ने जय श्री राम, जय श्री राम, जय हनुमान, जय हनुमान का जयघोष किया, लंका दहन में आठ ट्रैक स्टीरियो साउंड बड़े बड़े स्पीकर भी लगाए जिसके चलते दहन के समय ग्राउंड में पटाखों की आवाज सुनाई दी।

On The Second Day of The Katha, Indresh Maharaj Gave Devotees a Glimpse of the Mor Kuti in Barsana Through a Narration of the Story

Chandigarh : The Vrindavan Prakty Utsav and Shrimad Bhagwat Katha are being organized at the Mela Ground in Sector 34 under the aegis of the Shri Krishna Priya Ju Sankirtan Mandal. A large number of people from across the city are participating in this Katha event.

Today, on the second day, world-renowned Katha Vyas, Param Pujya Shri Indresh Maharaj, performed the Myur Leela through the narration of the story and gave devotees a glimpse of the Mor Kuti in Barsana. During this Peacock Leela, several members of the organizing committee danced as peacocks, recreating the spectacle seen at the Mor Kuti in Barsana. The scene at Mor Kuti, where Thakur Ji took the form of a Mor to appease Kishori Ji, was narrated and the devotees were given darshan. Many devotees enjoyed the occasion by singing and dancing.

Singer B Praak informed that a Prabhat Ferry is also being organized tomorrow morning. It will start at 5 am from Sector 20, Chandigarh, and cover the entire city. Thousands of people are expected to attend. Following this, a program is being organized at Punjab University to help young people avoid drug addiction, where Maharaj Ji will deliver a message to them. An evening meeting related to the Katha will also be held there. A special gathering will be held tomorrow night, where Baba Chitra Vichitra Ji from Vrindavan will enthrall the devotees with a special Sankirtan.

He informed that along with the Katha, festivals like Mor Kuti Bhaav, Man Sarovar, Palana Manrath, Sanjhi Utsav, Vijay Dashami, and Raas Garba are also being celebrated. This Katha event will continue from 3 pm to 7 pm daily until October 3rd. He appealed to the people to enjoy this Katha event with their families.

Revolutionaries should be given martyr status - Paramjit Singh Pamma

Delhi : Tribute Paid to Martyr Bhagat Singh on his Birth Anniversary. Senior Business Leader and National Akali Dal President Paramjit Singh Pamma stated that while paying tribute, traders and social workers demanded the government grant martyr status to the revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives for the country's independence. Business leader Deepak Mittal, Senior Vice President of Sadar Bazar Bari Market Trades Association Varinder Arya, Sunil Puri, Tarun Soni, Shekhar Kataria, Gangadhar, and many other businessmen were present on the occasion.
On this occasion, under the leadership of Paramjit Singh Pamma, traders, after paying tribute, also raised slogans such as "Inquilab Zindabad," "Bharat Mata Ki Jai," and "Give martyr status to the revolutionaries."

Recalling the sacrifices of Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Rajguru, and Sukhdev, Paramjit Singh Pamma said that there are many revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives for the country's independence. But it is very sad that they have not even been given the status of martyr till date.

दिल्ली : त्योहारों को देखते हुए डीसीपी ट्रैफिक सेंटर रेंज निशांत गुप्ता जी ने ट्रैफिक की समस्याओं को लेकर अधिकारियों का व्यापारियों की एक बैठक बुलाई जिसमें इंस्पेक्टर. सुधीर टीआई,एसबीसी सहित अनेक ट्रैफिक अधिकारी व व्यापारी नेता सदर बाजार बारी मार्केट ट्रेडर्स एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष परमजीत सिंह पम्मा, आजाद मार्केट क्रोकरी मार्केट के टोनी, नरेश महाजन अध्यक्ष आजाद मार्केट, व्यापारी नेता हरजीत सिंह छाबड़ा सहित अनेक व्यापारी उपस्थित थे जिन्होंने सदर बाजार, आजाद मार्केट की ट्रैफिक की समस्याओं से डीसीपी साहब को अवगत कराया।

इस अवसर पर परमजीत सिंह पम्मा ने डीसीपी साहब निशांत गुप्ता जी को बताया सदर बाजार थाने से लेकर 12 टूटी चौक तक जो एमसीडी ने पार्किंग दी हुई है वह वहां पर दो-तीन लाइन गाड़ियां लगा देता है जिससे आए दिन जाम लगा रहता है। इसके साथ ही सभी सदर बाजार, आजाद मार्केट चौकों पर ई-रिक्शा वाले पुर चौक जाम कर देते हैं। उन्होंने डीसीपी साहब से निवेदन किया कि वह पिक एवर पर मिठाई पुल चौक, 12 टूटी, सदर थाना, कुतुब रोड, तेलीवाड़ा पर सुबह 9:00 से 11:00 तक शाम को 6:00 से 9:00 तक जरूर ट्रैफिक स्टाफ उपलब्ध कारण। जिससे आने वाली समय में काफी समस्या हल हो जाएगी।

परमजीत सिंह पम्मा ने कहा जिस प्रकार आने वाले समय में त्योहारों का है मार्केट में सामान खरीदने वालों की भीड़ भी बढ़ेगी। इसके लिए ट्रैफिक पुलिस का ज्यादा से ज्यादा स्टाफ तैनात किया जाए।

इस अवसर पर डीसीपी साहब निशांत गुप्ता ने व्यापारियों को आश्वासन दिया कि वह जल्द ही व्यापारियों की समस्या हल करेंगे और दशहरे के बाद ज्यादा स्टाफ मार्केट में ट्रैफिक पुलिस का बढ़ाया जाएगा। उन्होंने व्यापारियों से भी निवेदन किया कि वह कोई भी रोड पर गाड़ी ना खड़ी करें और वह सुबह शाम ट्रैफिक अधिकारियों को भी हर चौक पर तैनात करेंगे।

Special Seminar Organized on NSS Day at Dashmesh Khalsa College, Zirakpur

Zirakpur : The Department of Computer Science and the NSS (National Service Scheme) unit of Dashmesh Khalsa College, Zirakpur, jointly organised a special seminar dedicated to NSS Day. The event was held under the leadership and guidance of Er. Sukhwinder Singh (Education Secretary) and Dr. Karambeer Singh (Principal).

The seminar was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Manveen Kaur, Head of the Computer Department, and Prof. Jagroop Singh, NSS Program Officer. Experts from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) provided important insights to students on the topic of Cyber Hygiene.

Distinguished guests included Surinder Verma, Chairman, Citizens Awareness Group, motivational speaker Mohinder Kaur Kataria, Devika Trehan from Reliance Jio, Ravi Kumar from Vodafone-Idea, Anil Singla from BSNL, and Yashpal from Airtel.

Citizens Awareness Group Chairman Surinder Verma discussed in detail the rising trend of cybercrime and emphasized that the younger generation should stay away from such activities and instead spread awareness about cyber safety in society.

Mandeep Kaur, a B.A. first-year student, presented her views on NSS Day. The stage proceedings were anchored by Prof. Jagroop Singh.

Addressing the students, College Principal Dr. Karambeer Singh said that modern technologies must be used cautiously. He added that students can play a vital role in raising awareness about cyber hygiene in society.

Students from the Arts, Commerce, Computer Science, and Science departments participated in the seminar and gained valuable information related to cyber hygiene.

At the conclusion of the seminar, Dr. Karambeer Singh and the college staff honored all the guests by presenting mementos. Poonam Pandey Will No Longer Play Mandodari, Major Decision by Luv Kush Ramlila Committee

New Delhi : Actress Poonam Pandey will not be playing the role of Mandodari in this year’s world-famous Luv Kush Ramlila, held at the Red Fort grounds. The committee announced this decision after receiving objections from various sections of society.

Committee President Arjun Kumar and General Secretary Subhash Goyal stated that Poonam Pandey had initially agreed to portray Mandodari at the committee’s invitation. However, after her name was announced, several institutions and groups raised objections, which, according to the committee, could hinder the core purpose of the Ramlila — to spread the message of Lord Shri Ram to society.

Following detailed deliberations, the committee unanimously decided that the role of Mandodari will instead be performed by another artist this year. The committee also extended best wishes for Poonam Pandey’s future and expressed hope that she would understand and accept this decision.

Cancer Screening Camp Organized Under
“Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan” St GMCH-32

Chandigarh : Cancer screening camp was organised on the second day of the launch of the “Swasth Naari Sashakt Parivar” Abhiyan, at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) , Sector 32 . This initiative, running upto 02nd October, 2025 is a part of a larger national effort to promote women’s health and nutrition for strengthening family and community health outcomes.

The camp offered oral cancer screening, breast cancer screening as well as routine check-ups for hypertension, diabetes, obesity, lifestyle and dietary counselling. Free registration was provided to all beneficiaries.

Dr. G.P. Thami, Director Principal of GMCH-32, took a round of the activities along with Dr. Sonia Puri, Associate Professor and Nodal Officer of the programme. Both highlighted the importance of preventive health care and encouraged women to actively participate in regular health screenings.

GGDSD College Hosts Lecture on Traditional Media vs Social Media Under PM Usha Scheme

Chandigarh : The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma College, Under the PM-Usha Scheme, Organised an invited lecture on “Traditional Media vs New Media” today.

Ms. Manokriti Bedi, Editor of Manifest International and Chief Editor of Glimpse Magazine , was the resource person. Nearly 200 students attended the session which bridged the industry -academia gap, offering valuable insights to the participants .The college Principal, Dr. Ajay Sharma, extended a warm welcome and addressed the gathering, emphasizing key aspects of media such as media ownerships, potential benefits and encouraged students to become independent thinkers while living in a digital landscape. Ms. Bedi talked about the risks of misinformation in content strategies and lead generation.
The students gained valuable insights about evolving media practices, the importance of cross-checking facts, and the need for responsible reporting. The lecture also encouraged students to be independent thinkers, critically analyse narratives, and engage with media content in a more informed and meaningful manner.

Dr Priya Chadha, Head ,Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, highlighted the interdisciplinary nature of journalism courses and encouraged students to develop habits of reading newspapers and use social media judiciously .

The event ended with an interactive session where students shared their opinions on the future of print media and was organised by Ambika Sharma, faculty , Department of Journalism and Mass Communication.

द यूथ क्लब डंगर खेड़ा की ओर से सेवा लगातार जारी : द यूथ क्लब डंगर खेड़ा ने फाजिल्का के बाढ़ प्रभावित गावों में राशन वितरित किया

अबोहर : पंजाब पिछले तीन वर्षों में दूसरी बार बाढ़ की चपेट में है। इस प्राकृतिक आपदा से इंसानों के साथ-साथ मवेशियों का भी काफी नुकसान हुआ है। जिला फाजिल्का के सैकड़ों परिवार बुनियादी जरूरतों के बिना बाढ़ क्षेत्रों में फसे हुए हैं। बाड़ क्षेत्र में सरकार, प्रशासन और समाजसेवी संस्थाएं लगातार बाढ़ प्रभावित लोगों की सेवाओं में जुटी हुई है। जिला फाजिल्का के गांव डंगर खेड़ा से द यूथ क्लब डंगर खेड़ा भी जिले के बाढ़ ग्रस्त एरिया में लगातार 13 दिनों से अपनी सेवाएं दे रहा है। क्लब बाढ़ प्रभावित गांवों में जाकर हरा चारा, तुड़ी और पशुओं के लिए फीड की सेवा कर रहे है। द यूथ क्लब डंगर खेड़ा ने गांव वासियों के सहयोग से फाजिल्का के बाढ़ ग्रस्त गांव गटी नंबर 1, माहतम नगर, मुहार जमशेर, बुर्ज महिमा और राम सिंह भेणी में घर-घर जाकर 501 राशन किट वितरित की है।

इन कठिन परिस्थितियों में, बल्लुआना विधानसभा क्षेत्र के गांव डंगर खेड़ा के 'द यूथ क्लब डंगर खेड़ा' ने बाढ़ प्रभावित लोगों की मदद करने के लिए लगातार जुटे हुए हैं। पिछले 13 दिनों में, क्लब ने सतलुज नदी के कावा वाली पुल पार करके बाढ़ प्रभावित गांव गटी नंबर 1, माहतम नगर, मुहार जमशेर, बुर्ज महिमा, राम सिंह भेणी और साबूआणा में पशुओं के लिए राहत सामग्री लगातार पहुंचा रहे है। उन गांवों की स्थिति को देखते हुए, डंगर खेड़ा गांव वासियों और 'द यूथ क्लब डंगर खेड़ा' ने बाढ़ प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में फंसे लोगों के लिए राशन के 501 पैकेट वितरित किए हैं, जिनमें आटा, दाल, चावल और चाय-चीनी के अलावा रोजाना रसोई में इस्तेमाल होने वाली वस्तुएं भेंट की गई।

द यूथ क्लब डंगर खड़ा के मीडिया प्रभारी ने बताया कि, “हम अपने गांववासियों और द यूथ क्लब डंगर खेड़ा के नौजवानों द्वारा बाढ़ प्रभावित लोगों की मदद करने के लिए आगे आने पर गर्व महसूस कर रहे हैं। गांव से हर रोज 10 से 15 सेवादार फाजिल्का जिला के बाढ़ ग्रस्त क्षेत्र में सेवा करने जाते हैं, आज कई गांवों में राशन सप्लाई करने के लिए क्लब के पूरे टीम के साथ ग्रुप के एक्टिव मेंबर भी मौजूद रहे। द यूथ क्लब डंगर खेड़ा ने नाव से गांव गटी नंबर 1, माहतम नगर, मुहार जमशेर, बुर्ज महिमा और राम सिंह भेणी में पहुंचे और घर-घर जाकर राशन वितरित किया। इस आफत की घड़ी में द यूथ क्लब डंगर खेड़ा आखिरी समय तक सरकार और प्रशासन के साथ मिलकर सहयोग करने के लिए तत्पर रहेंगा।ʼʼ

Jack Faint’s Run Across India Reaches Mohali — Paragon School, Sector 69 Welcomes the Inspirational Ultra-Runner

Mohali : British ultra-runner Jack Faint, who is living with a brain tumour, was warmly welcomed in Mohali as part of his extraordinary mission to run the length of India — over 4,000 km in just 80 days. His journey stands as a powerful symbol of endurance, resilience, and hope for millions battling cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

Having already crossed multiple Indian states, Jack’s arrival in Punjab marked a significant milestone in his campaign. His mission resonates deeply with Punjab’s ongoing efforts toward a drug-free society (Nasha Mukti) and greater cancer awareness.

Paragon Senior Secondary School, located in Sector 69, Mohali, proudly hosted Jack during his visit. The school, known for promoting health, fitness, and social responsibility among students, joined hands with Jack to spread his powerful message of perseverance and community healing.

“Jack Faint’s journey is a powerful reminder to our students that courage and determination can overcome even the toughest battles. UNITED SIKHS Continues to Lead Relief Efforts for Panjab’s Displaced Communities

Punjab : As Floodwaters Continue to Devastate Communities Across Panjab, UNITED SIKHS Remains Steadfast in its humanitarian response – delivering aid, restoring dignity, and amplifying the spirit of seva across borders.

UNITED SIKHS teams continue to operate mobile medical units, distribute hygiene kits, and deliver food and water to isolated villages. In response to these efforts, the Komi Virsa Sambhal organization in Ludhiana has sent a large consignment of supplies including flour, lentils, tea leaves, refined oil, soap, and bottled water, to support ongoing relief.

Ranjit Singh Khalsa from UNITED SIKHS said “We have been struck down and uprooted by many calamities, sometimes drowned by the floodwaters! But still, Punjabis have not lost their faith – enduring immense suffering and hardship, yet always thanking the Almighty.

Even when their own huts collapsed, Punjabis continued to set up langar (community kitchens) for the welfare of all. Blessed are those women who, even in times of grief, served with devotion and offered gratitude to God!”

कमेटी के महासचिव सुभाष गोयल के अनुसार लीला के प्रथम दिन गणेश पूजन से लीला प्रारंभहोगी और इसके बाद मंचन पर महर्षि वाल्मिकी द्वारा लव कुश को रामकथा और प्रभु श्री राम के जीवन दर्शन प्रस्तुत करने का दृश्य और तुलीदास जी जीवनी के दृश्य भी प्रस्तुत किए जायेंगे। इस वर्ष भी लीला के प्रमुख पात्रों को बालीबुड और टीवी फील्ड के अनेक जाने माने कलाकार निभाएंगे । इनमें प्रमुख है किनसुक बैध (राम), डा. राजन शर्मा (लक्ष्मण), रिनी आर्या (सीता) , मल्हार पांडया (हनुमान), आर्य बब्बर (रावण), राजेश पुरी (राजा जनक के मंत्री), शंकर साहनी (केवट), डा. अशोक शर्मा (सुसेन वैघ) आदि ।

लव कुश रामलीला कमेटी के चैयरमेन श्री पवन गुप्ता और सीनियर वाईस प्रसिडेंट श्री सत्यभूषण जैन ने लीला मंचन 22 सितम्बर से प्रारंभ होगा 3 अक्तूबर 2025 को भरत मिलाप के साथ लीला सम्पन्न होगी, दशहरा पर्व 02 अक्तूबर को बड़ी धूम धाम से सम्पूर्ण विश्व में सम्पन्न होगा.

कमेटी के वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष श्री अखिल सिंहल के अनुसार बाबा खाटू श्याम के मधुर भजनों का एक विशेष कार्यक्रम विख्यात भजन गायक और खाटू श्याम के परम भक्त कन्हैया मित्तल और उनकी पार्टी द्वारा किया जाएगा।
