The emergence of Szoon Media Company, came from the consistent determined attempts of Sumit Chadha, since 1998. He got educated in the craft of Acting at Imago School of Acting under the direction Barry John. He played a key role in founding Imago Theatre Group in Delhi. He also assisted & accompanied Barry John on several Diploma Course in Acting, Part Time courses, Summer Courses and Young Actor
s Club. Where he taught several actors like Murad Ali, Vani Kapoor, Karan Singhmar, Rekha Rana amongst several others. He also designed curriculum for the Young Actors Course ran at BJAS (Delhi). He also wrote and directed theatre plays for T.O.I campaigns like (a) LEAD INDIA, (b) TEACH INDIA (c) SAY NO TO DRUGS. He has also conducted Theatre In Education workshops, programs for the parents, teachers and students of renowned schools like G.D. Goenka, Tagore International School, Ryan International School amongst several other schools of Delhi, organized by Hindustan Times. In 2008 established Szoon Media in Delhi with core purpose to continue the exploration and sharing the in depth knowledge of the craft of Acting he gathered since 1998 through acting in theatre, short films, street theatre, writing plays, direction & teaching on Full Time Acting courses. Here at Szoon, we believe in the process of transformation which needs a detailed approach to benefit the actor to get the best of the capabilities. At Szoon, it’s the process which is rigorous, intense and programmed to initiate the innate ability of the performer to explore and grow. At Szoon we provide education in the craft of Acting through several courses along with the Dance classes to develop the nuanced understanding of sound, movement, rhythm & patterns which not only helps the actor to refine his art form but allows the performer to approach different perspectives.
