Judges final sentencing remarks when handing down a minimum 21 years sentence for murder to Vickrum Digwa who murdered Henry Nowak in a senseless needless attack. He lied throughout his defence & brought the Sikh panth into disrepute.

We all hold collective responsibility for the panth with our actions & behaviours. May Henry Nowak rest in peace.

We are publishing this so the lying rhetoric of some can be put to bed & people face the facts of the case. An independent jury found him guilty. A judge who offered Vickrum a lesser charge of manslaughter which he refused made all these comments on the 10 slides today.

Life imprisonment for sacrilege: Punjab government introduces toughest-ever law to stop beadbia of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee Maharaj

The Punjab Government approved the Jaagat Jot Sri Guru Granth Sahib Satkar (Amendment) Bill, 2026, today, proposing a minimum of seven years and up to life imprisonment for acts of sacrilege.

It will become law in Punjab if the Punjab Governor approves it, that is the final legal hurdle. We will post a pdf of the full bill on our website in the coming days.

Let's not be disingenuous some Nihangs/Sikhs haven't eaten meat/eggs/fish or taken any intoxicants since Sikhi started. Many Nihang leaders today are vegetarian in their diets. The true warriors of the last 50 years who gave Shaheedia were majority vegetarian they didn't need meat proteins to excel in the battlefield.

Baba Nihal Singh has done Amrit Sanchars with many other Dal Jathedars including those of Buddha Dal & has implemented this Rehat as part of the Panj Pyare that no meat is to be consumed etc

These accounts obsessed with meat consumption will not share these videos or dissect them as it doesn't fit their agenda. Sikhi is not about winning an argument it's a game of love to the Guru, to Gurbani & your karmic output in the world.
