Eid al-Ghadeer is one of the most significant events in Islamic history.

While returning from his Farewell Hajj, the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ gathered the Muslims at a place known as Ghadir Khumm. There, before a large crowd, he delivered a sermon and proclaimed:

"Whoever I am his Mawla, Ali is his Mawla."

The event of Ghadir was a public declaration witnessed by thousands and preserved in numerous historical and hadith sources.

Eid al-Ghadeer Mubarak. May we always remain among those who uphold truth, justice, and the teachings of the Imam Ali a.s and his family.

عيد الغدير هو مناسبة دينية يحتفل بها كثير من المسلمين الشيعة في اليوم الثامن عشر من شهر ذي الحجة ويحيون فيه ذكرى حادثة غدير خم التي وقعت بعد حجة الوداع للنبي محمد عندما توقف في غدير خم وخطب في المسلمين ثم قال من كنت مولاه فهذا علي مولاه مشيراً إلى علي بن أبي طالب ويرى الشيعة أن هذا القول كان إعلاناً لإمامته وقيادته للمسلمين بعد النبي ولذلك يعدون هذا اليوم من أعظم أعيادهم الدينية ويحتفلون فيه بالتهاني وإقامة المجالس الدينية وتوزيع الطعام والصدقات وإظهار الفرح بينما يرى أهل السنة أن الحادثة وقعت فعلاً لكنهم يفسرون كلمة مولى بمعنى المحبة والنصرة والمكانة ولا يعتبرونها تعييناً للخلافة لذلك يختلف الطرفان في فهم دلالة الحادثة مع اتفاقهما على أصل وقوعها وأهمية علي بن أبي طالب ومكانته الكبيرة في الإسلام.

Eid Al-Ghadir in few days!
Eid Al-Ghadir is one of the most significant celebrations in Shia Islam, commemorating the day the Prophet Muhammad
•h- declared Ali in Abi Talib as his successor at a place calted Ghadir Khumm (18th of Dhul Hijjah).

On the way back from his final Hajj (632 CE), Prophet
Muhammad ﷺ stopped at a place called Ghadir Khumm (a
crossroads near Mecca) with over 100,000 companions.

He delivered a major sermon and then raised the hand of Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS) and said:

“Whoever I am his Mawla, Ali is his Mawla.” (Man kuntu Mawlahu fa-hadha Aliyyun Mawlah)

Quran 5:3 - “Today I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and chosen Islam as your way.”

تنها چند روز تا عید غدیر باقی مانده!

عید غدیر یکی از مهم‌ترین اعیاد در مذهب شیعه است. این عید یادآور روزی است که پیامبر اکرم (صل الله علیه وآله وسلم) در مکانی به نام غدیر خم (در ۱۸ ذی‌الحجه)، علی بن ابی‌طالب (علیه السلام) را به عنوان جانشین خود اعلام فرمودند.

در مسیر بازگشت از آخرین حج (حجةالوداع در سال ۶۳۲ میلادی)، پیامبر اکرم (ص) به همراه بیش از ۱۰۰ هزار نفر از یاران و صحابه در مکانی به نام غدیر خم (تقاطعی در نزدیکی مکه) توقف کردند.

ایشان خطبه‌ی مهمی ایراد فرمودند و سپس دست علی بن ابی‌طالب (علیه السلام) را بالا برده و فرمودند:
مَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلَاهُ فَهَذَا عَلِيٌّ مَوْلَاهُ «هر که من مولای او هستم، علی مولای اوست.»
قرآن کریم، سوره مائده آیه ۳:
الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الْإِسْلَامَ دِينًا
«امروز دین شما را برایتان کامل و نعمت خود را بر شما تمام کردم و اسلام را به عنوان آیین شما برگزیدم.»
