One more glass ceiling breached. Love this shikanji vendor. Totally in control of the cart and the business. She looked dignified and confident. Even the choice of the umbrella and her bright yellow ochre salwar added to the mood of the moment. The cart was clean hygienic and all ready to quench the summer thirst. Lingerie shoots can be tricky. After having done over a 100 such projects for some of the most respected brands in india , the biggest challenge is to precariously walk the thin line between vulgarity and celebrating the woman's body. With clients usually under the wrong impression that making the shoot look over the top with lot of s*x is what the brand needs to get eyeballs. What most don't realize is that guys don't buy lingerie. So the the thing is to make the model feel good about herself and that will shine through and connect with the TG. Funnily I always focus on the eyes of the model in spite of serious distractions.! And i get away with images as the one displayed here. Thanks of course to my understanding photographer friends, in this case . .Ram just rocks.

In the early twenties, Bishakha was experimenting a lot with makeup, hair and styling, and i was discovering the power of my new Nikon's aperture settings and the magic of depth of field. Chanced upon this in the resort I am staying.
These projectors and film rolls have long been replaced by digital files. Remember watching portions of Amitabh’s Zanjeer from the projection room of my friends theatre during a house full show. The heat and the monotonous whir of the reels adding to the magic of cinema. This is my moment.
