On the 18th of Dhul Hijjah On this historic day at Ghadir Khumm, under the burning desert sun, the Prophet Muhammad raised the hand of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib declared to thousands of pilgrims صلى الله عليه سلم (علیه السلام) علیه( and مَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلَاهُ فَهُذَا عَلَى مَوْلَاهُ” “Whoever I am his Mola, then this Ali is his Mola” In that single moment, the light of Wilayah shone brightly. Imam Ali )علیه السلام(the Lion of Allah, the Gate of Knowledge, the embodiment of justice and courage, was publicly appointed as the successor and guardian of the Ummah by divine command. He was the one whom the Prophet loved more than himself, the one who slept in the Prophet’s bed on the night of Hijrah, the one who broke the idols of the Kaaba, and the one whose sword never left the path of truth.
