Kashmere Gate Durga Puja Originated as "Baroyari Puja" at Roshanpura Kali Mandir, initiated by the proactive Bengali community.

Delhi Durga Puja Charitable and Cultural Samiti also known as Kashmere Gate Durga Puja - the oldest Durga Puja in Delhi, carrying forward a legacy of devotion and culture since 1910. Welcome to the official page of Delhi Durga Puja Charitable and Cultural Samiti, popularly known as Kashmere Gate Durga Puja, Delhi's oldest and most cherished community Durga Puja celebration. Established in 1910, our festival brings together generations of Probashi Bengalis and devotees to honour the goddess Durga with devotion, tradition, and cultural vibrancy. Grew over decades with support from local philanthropists, and is now held annually in the lawns of Bengali Sr Sec School, Shamnath Marg (Alipur Road). Participated in by eminent personalities like Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose (1935) and Indira Gandhi (1969). Celebrated its Centenary in 2009, reaffirming its role in preserving Bengali culture and traditions in Delhi.
