Teen Girl Killed After Suspect Returned to Rock Hill Home, Police Say

A 19-year-old girl was shot and killed in Rock Hill after a man allegedly returned to a home hours after an earlier shooting incident. Authorities say surveillance footage showed the suspect approaching the residence and firing a shotgun through the front door earlier in the day, when no one was reportedly inside.

Later that night, police responded to another shooting at the same location and found the victim, identified in reports as Camariya Tidwell, outside the home with fatal injuries. Investigators later arrested a 34-year-old suspect and charged him with murder and additional firearm-related offenses. Police said they believe the victim may not have been the intended target.

Doorbell footage connected to the case has circulated widely online as the investigation continues.
