Baba Waterfalls, a private waterfall in Kumbhavade village of Sindhudurg district in Maharashtra, 87km from Belagavi, has blossomed anew with the beginning of the rainy season, attracting hundreds of youths.

Watching and getting drenched under the water that falls from around 150ft is a mesmerizing experience. The area, covered with greenery and enveloped in fog, offers a serene feeling. Even more fascinating are the caves behind the waterfall. One can capture photogenic views on their camera.

The owner of the waterfalls, Balasaheb Kupekar, a senior NCP leader in Maharashtra, had closed this area for many years following landslide incidents, prioritizing public safety
