Roaring into its grand finale on October 11, Concetto ‘26 kicked off the morning at CECR 333 with Seek The Civil Geek 26, organized by Takshaka-The Civil Engineering Society. Starting at 10:00 AM, twelve shortlisted teams presented solutions to real-world civil engineering problems before HOD Prof. Rajib Sarkar crowned Team Civilians as the winner, followed by Team Synergy 3 and Seema Gupta. Meanwhile, at the Penman Auditorium, at 10:45 AM, after a delay of 45 minutes, Udaan hosted an inspiring guest talk featuring GeeksforGeeks CEO Sandeep Jain, who shared his remarkable entrepreneurial journey.

In the afternoon, the Competitive Coding Club of IIT ISM Dhanbad hosted Code Wars, a competitive programming contest at the Central Library from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, where team Procrastinators, comprising Shivam Chaudhary, Aashish Kumar, and Anurag Dwivedi, secured first place. Concurrently, the BIS Students Chapter wrapped up the Manak Quest quiz at 4:30 PM with Team KDS emerging victorious, while intense robotics competitions dominated the campus. At the Open Air Theatre, Robo ISM delivered the Robo War finals from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, crowning Pralay and Sentinel as the 8 kg and 15 kg champions, respectively, as Roboism concurrently hosted the Pathfinder competition in the NHLC lobby, where Team X secured the top position by 6:00 PM. Seamlessly transitioning into the evening, the Bike Stunts exhibition by Smokyriders transformed GJLT Road into an adrenaline-filled arena, thrilling crowds with incredible professional riding from 5:00 PM until 7:30 PM.
The grand finale of Concetto ‘26 then unfolded at the Gymkhana Ground with a spectacular Band Night by Lost Stories. Beginning at 9:45 PM after a delay of one hour and 45 minutes, the electrifying musical event kept the enthusiastic crowd dancing until 11:00 PM. Serving as the perfect culmination of the days of brilliance, this vibrant night brought Concetto ‘26 to a truly glamorous and majestic end.

Day 2 of Concetto ’26, held on October 10, featured a series of technical competitions focused on AI challenges, and engaging activities. The day began with Sparkathon, organised by the Society of Electronics Engineers (SEE), where 25 teams designed circuits, built prototypes, and presented innovative solutions. The Edge AI Challenge followed, commenced at NLHC CR2, with 14 teams deploying compact AI models on STM32 hardware to classify ECG signals based on accuracy, speed, and efficiency. At 11:30 AM, TerraNova, a sustainability and critical minerals quiz organised by the Quiz Club and the Departmental Society of Fuel, Minerals and Metallurgical Engineering, attracted 20 teams, including participants from outside the college. Held at Penman Auditorium, the competition saw three teams emerge victorious.

At 1:00 PM, Aashish Kumar, Director at Mastercard, delivered a session on AI applications in digital payments, fraud detection, and transaction security, followed by the CaseBlitz prize distribution. Meanwhile, GameJam (RRR) challenged 10 teams to reinvent classic retro games. AptiQuest, organised by the Fintech Club, tested participants through rapid fire mental math questions and elimination duels, with Keshav Gupta securing first place, followed by Bhawya Navkunj and Keshav Anand. At Amber Ground, Aeroglide showcased practical flying skills, with Team 3RC taking first place, followed by ISM AataGaalu and PSG CT-2. 

The day also saw the conclusion of Conv-Cup ’26: FIFA of AI, where teams developed autonomous soccer agents, and AI Arena, organised by UDAAN, The Career Club, which tested 50 students through a live quiz on AI prompts.

The festivities culminated in DJ Night featuring DJ Cat at Gymkhana Ground. Starting at 9:50 PM, the event brought students together for an energetic evening of music, dancing, and celebration, concluding at 11:30 PM and bringing Day 2 of Concetto ’26 to a vibrant close.

Day 1 of Concetto ’26 featured insightful guest talks by IAS officer Sonal Goel and DeHaat co-founder Adarsh Srivastava at Penman Auditorium. While Ms. Goel guided students on UPSC preparation, AI in governance, and women’s empowerment, Mr. Srivastava shared his entrepreneurial journey and encouraged students to pursue innovative ideas.

The technical and management events included AlgoSort, a six-round mathematics competition; CaseBlitz, a 24-hour hackathon; Blockhunt ’26, a blockchain challenge; and Questree, a campus-wide mathematical treasure hunt. Aeroglide Interview Round evaluated participants’ engineering designs, while Archway Arena ’26 challenged 42 teams to construct load-bearing bridges. Clay Modelling and Crack the Crude further encouraged artistic creativity and practical learning through interactive activities.

The day concluded with a vibrant Music and Comedy Night at Gymkhana Ground, featuring Sagir Live and comedian Vinit Sharma. With enthusiastic participation, diverse competitions, and engaging performances, Day 1 offered a dynamic blend of technology, management, creativity, and entertainment.

Concetto 2026 was inaugurated at Penman Auditorium on 8 October 2026. The ceremony was scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM but commenced at 7:22 PM.

Aryaratan and Prerna Yadav hosted the program and introduced the theme, “Centauri Synapse”. Eminent dignitaries graced the inauguration ceremony, including Prof. A. K. Mishra, Director, CSIR; Prof. Sharad Kumar Das, Deputy Director, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad; Prof. Sanjay Mandal, Dean of Students’ Welfare; Prof. Alok Das; and Prof. Vasant Kumar Govind, Convener of Concetto 2026.

The ceremony featured addresses by the Director and the Chief Guest, followed by the Concetto Coordinator's vote of thanks. The speakers emphasised the importance of innovation, technical excellence, and effective management. Prof. A. K. Mishra noted that over 400 participants had registered for the event and encouraged students to prioritise creativity and innovation over securing employment.

The inauguration ceremony concluded at 8:07 PM with the National Song and the National Anthem. Manthan followed with a musical performance, which began at approximately 8:18 PM.

LiveTalksISM organised the Guest Talk at Penman Auditorium. The event was scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM but started at 8:40 PM, following a 40-minute delay.
The programme began with a stand-up comedy performance by Hriday Sir, which concluded at 8:53 PM. Following this, Bhawish Joshi Sir took the stage for his performance, which concluded at approximately 9:40 PM. Subsequently, Harsh*t Mahawar Sir, an alumnus of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, took the stage for his stand-up performance.

His session continued until 10:30 PM and covered topics such as college life, placements, and the importance of exploring one's passion. Through humour and personal experiences, he offered students an entertaining and insightful perspective on campus life and career choices.

The event concluded at 10:40 PM.
