Very excited to unveil the first six titles from this years Dharamshala International Film Festival. The selection process was long and arduous, and much debated and discussed. A huge thanks to our Director of Programming, Bina Paul, and her team, including Eleo Nora, Monica Gyamlani and AJ for their amazing work!

Finally arrived in Leh and ready to set up our Shadow Circus exhibition at the LAMO (Ladakh Arts & Media Organisation). Very excited to be able to bring this to Leh and many thanks to Monisha Ahmed and the LAMO team for making this possible. The exhibition opens on 9 August and will run until 9 October 2024. Please spread the word!

Also, on 10 August, we will have a special screening of The Sweet Requiem སྐྱོ་དབྱངས་མངར་མོ། along with acclaimed Swiss photographer (and good friend) Manuel Bauer's photo essay, Escape From Tibet, followed by a discussion with Manuel who will join us online.

Wishing His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama a very happy 89th birthday! He has lived in exile in India for 65 long years. May he soon return to his rightful home in Tibet and fulfill the hopes and aspirations of all Tibetans.

Such a nice feeling to be back in a studio, working on a film! At Bridge Postworks and Aural Mayhem Studios in Bombay, doing post-work on 'A Little Cloud' སྤྲིན་པ་ཆུང་ཆུང. The film is part of an anthology of short films by Tibetan filmmakers produced by Drung Tibetan Filmmakers Collective.

Our first feature narrative, DREAMING LHASA, is now showing on MUBI! Shot in 2003, mostly in and around McLeod Ganj, the film captures a time and place in recent exile history that already seems so distant.

Karma, a Tibetan filmmaker from New York, journeys to the Dalai Lama’s exile headquarters in northern India to make a documentary about political prisoners.
