I love Dharmapuri-Krishnagiri Dharmapuri district, which came into existence from 02.10.1965 is situated in the North western Corn DHARMAPURI.. It is located 65 km north of Salem.

Dharmapuri is a town and the administrative headquarters of Dharmapuri district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Dharmapuri is a part of the Kongu Nadu an ancient division of Tamilakam. The famous Hogenakkal water falls is in Dharmapuri district. Known for its mango farming, the district also has one of the best quality marble stone reserves in the world. KRISHNAGIRI.. Krishnagiri is a municipal

center and the headquarters of Krishnagiri District in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located 90 km from Bangalore and 45 km from Hosur. Mango is cultivated as the main crop and the land here is extremely fertile with rich access to fresh water making it amenable to growing crops. Krishnagiri is a rapidly growing town and is the site of significant business and residential development. The Krishnagiri Dam is currently undergoing expansion and a variety of small scale industry zones are being set up.

On either side of the roads leading into Erudukuttahalli village in Tamil Nadu’s Dharmapuri district are barren fields coated with clumps of brown dirt. Most farmers in the region have abandoned attempts to revive the land for the season owing to the acute water scarcity plaguing the district.

தர்மபுரி மாவட்டம் அதியமான் கோட்டையில் அமைந்துள்ள, ஆயிரத்து 200 ஆண்டுகள் பழமையான தக்ஷின காசி காலபைரவர் ஆலயத்தில் தேய்பிறை அஷ்டமியை ஓட்டி சிறப்பு வழிபாடு நடைபெற்றது. விபூதி அலங்காரத்தில் காட்சி அளித்த கால பைரவரை, ஏராளமான பக்தர்கள் நீண்ட வரிசையில் காத்திருந்து வழிபட்டதுடன், காணிக்கைகளையும் செலுத்தினர். இந்தியாவில் காசிக்கு அடுத்து, கால பைரவருக்கென அமைந்துள்ள ஒரே கோயில் இது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
