Respected Officials of Thathri Administration,

Warm greetings to all of you.

I just wanted to share a small but important concern on behalf of many locals. About 10 years ago, it was a regular practice to sprinkle water on the roads of Thathri to control dust and keep the town clean. It made a big difference in maintaining hygiene and comfort for everyone.

But in recent years, this practice has stopped—ironically at a time when it’s needed the most. With ongoing construction and dry weather, the dust levels have become unbearable. It affects pedestrians, shopkeepers, and even the overall image of our beautiful town.

My humble request to the entire team—SDM sahab, BDO, EO, MC, PWD, and Nagar Panchayat—is to please consider restarting the regular sprinkling of water on the roads. It’s a small step, but it would go a long way in improving the environment and daily life in Thathri.

A Pakistani-born former University of Delaware student was arrested with an arsenal of weapons, body armour and a handwritten manifesto outlining plans to kill all in a mass shooting on campus, the New York Post reported. Police said that the discovery may have prevented a devastating attack.

Luqmaan Khan, 25, was arrested just before midnight on November 24 after New Castle County officers found him sitting in his pickup truck in a closed Wilmington park and became suspicious of his behaviour.
