Urgent Appeal: Addressing Acute Staff Shortages in Schools Across Tehsil Bhagwah and District Doda.

BY ABID PAMPORI

Doda::Arshad Ayoub, Social & Political Activist, on behalf of the resident of Tehsil Bhagwah District Doda express my deep concern regarding the shortage of teaching staff at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Sazan and numerous other schools in Tehsil Bhagwah and District Doda.

Key Issues:

Absence of Permanent Principal at GHSS Sazan: The school has been without a permanent Principal for an extended period, leading to administrative challenges and instability.

Vacant Teaching Positions: Several key subjects at GHSS Sazan lack permanent teachers, affecting the quality of education provided to students.

Frequent and Arbitrary Transfers: The frequent and often arbitrary transfers of staff disrupt the continuity of education, with new teachers reluctant to accept postings in remote areas.

Widespread Staff Shortages in Other Schools: Schools across Tehsil Bhagwah and District Doda are facing similar issues, with many institutions operating with insufficient staff, impacting the overall educational experience.

Specific Requests:

Immediate Appointment of a Permanent Principal at GHSS Sazan to restore administrative stability.

Filling of Vacant Teaching Positions at GHSS Sazan and other schools in the region to ensure all subjects are adequately taught.

Their familiarity with the local community and students would greatly enhance the learning environment.

Addressing Staff Shortages in Other Schools: Immediate measures to recruit and post qualified staff to schools across Tehsil Bhagwah and District Doda to alleviate the widespread shortages.

Conclusion:

The current staffing crisis is severely affecting the education of our children. We urge the Education Department and relevant authorities to take immediate action to address these issues and ensure that students receive the quality education they deserve.
