The award recognises Dr. Runyal’s outstanding contributions to community eye health and preventive ophthalmology, particularly his efforts to extend quality eye care services to rural and underserved areas. His achievement brings pride to GMC Doda and the entire medical fraternity of Jammu and Kashmir.

Students from Doda Excel at Divisional Level Kala Utsav 2025, Bring Laurels to the District

Doda, November 1: In a proud moment for District Doda, students from various schools showcased their exceptional artistic and musical talents at the Divisional Level Kala Utsav 2025 held in Jammu Division, securing top positions in multiple categories.

Ravi Kumar & Party from Government High School Gajoth, Zone Bhalla, clinched the first position in the Orchestra Group category, earning a place in the upcoming UT Level competition. Demonstrating equal brilliance, Alyas Ahmed from Government Boys Higher Secondary School Bhaderwah bagged the second position in Vocal Music (Classical Solo), while Taniya Yogi from Government Girls Higher Secondary School Bhaderwah secured the second position in Visual Arts (2D Painting).
