AAPSU Nullifies ANSU Order Against AKDSU President: Directs Kamle Authorities to Cooperate with District Union
In a significant intervention, the All Arunachal Pradesh Students' Union (AAPSU) has categorically invalidated the recent order issued by the All Nyishi Students' Union (ANSU), which labeled the President of the All Kamle District Students' Union (AKDSU) as "Anti-Union" and "Anti-Nyishi." The ANSU directive, dated 24/07/2025, had also urged authorities and students to cease cooperation with the AKDSU President.
AAPSU, in its official response, emphasized that AKDSU functions as a legitimate and autonomous federal unit under the constitutional framework of AAPSU. It strongly asserted that ANSU, as a community based students' organization, lacks the jurisdiction and constitutional authority to interfere in the internal affairs of any district students’ body affiliated with AAPSU.
Declaring the ANSU order "null and void," AAPSU has directed all concerned including the Hon’ble MLA of the 25th Raga Assembly Constituency, Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, and all departmental heads not to entertain ANSU’s directive. Furthermore, AAPSU has called upon the student community and authorities across Kamle District to extend full cooperation and support to AKDSU in upholding the interests of the student fraternity and indigenous communities of the region.
This firm stance by AAPSU reinforces the importance of respecting organizational boundaries, constitutional protocols, and the autonomy of district-level unions, ensuring unity and discipline within the student movement of Arunachal Pradesh.
