Shrīrampur Rajbari is the ancestral palace (**Goswami Rajbari**) of the Goswami family in Serampore. The family traces its roots to **Ramgovind Goswami**, who, according to local tradition, came to the area and was granted land during the time of the *Sheoraphuli Raj* rulers.
