concrete overflowed out of the toilet . concrete contractor unknowingly broke the sewer line while digging for a retaining wall. The concrete pumper came and literally pumped the entire sewer line full of concrete until it overflowed out of the toilet.

This will be going in our basement with little natural light. Having to choose a paint color before the carpet goes down is not an easy task.

This is how my landlord plugged in my 3-prong A/C unit into a 2-prong outlet. I'm not convinced this is safe at all.
USA. Landlord says this is safe because if the A/C unit is overburdened the breaker will trip. If my understanding is correct, the A/C unit itself would still be hot and shock the next thing that touches it. I'm planning to ask my landlord to install a GFCI outlet (there are some in the apartment but none in this particular room, so I could probably plug this unit in from another room). Anything else I should know?

I run a small, in home daycare. Current crew is 3 kids ages 2, 3 and 3. Most days are fairly dull, but every once in a while things get intense.
I've mediated a lot of disagreements between children over the years, but today I broke up an epic battle between three children over who was the owner of "the white thing"
Insults were hurled, hands were thrown (by them, not me), timeouts were sat. One child emitted a good 30 minutes of choking sobs that no amount of "take a breath and blow out the candle" ( usually effective for said child) could resolve. Finally, another little hand reached deep in a pocket, produced the coveted "white thing" and handed it off to the crier. They cheered, jumped up and down and declared themselves best friends.
I have not seen a battle this intense since the disagreement over whether or not Barbie could have a jet pack, or maybe it was the argument over the proper way to say " hickory dickory dock ". When I say these kids were all in, I mean they were looking for blood. It. Was. Rough.
Anyhoo, I've included a photo of "the white thing" in case you need gift ideas for the preschool set, because despite my house full of toys, games and books THIS is what all the kids wanna play with these days. Just make sure you get more than one, because they do NOT like sharing it.
