I just got back from Walmart, we bought an inflatable pool and while I was airing it up my friend goes "Ew look at that," and my initial reaction was telling her it's just a potato bug, because I genuinely thought it was. I'm in California right now so potato bugs are pretty common, and the only spiders we usually run into are field and wolf spiders with the occasional black widow. But then I noticed this "potato bug" had a cloudy body and eight legs, and what appears to be eggs. So, what the hell is this and did it come out of the box/is it invasive?
