"A shocking crime has come to light under the limits of Bandlaguda Police Station, Hyderabad…
On the morning of September 13th, a 3-year-old boy, Mohammed Anas, was reported missing by his mother. Initially, a kidnapping case was registered, and investigation began.
During the probe, suspicion fell on the boy’s father. When interrogated, he confessed to the crime — admitting that in a fit of anger, after frequent family disputes, he smothered his own child with a pillow.
To cover up the murder, he placed the body in a gunny bag, transported it in a vehicle, and threw it into the Musi River near Nayapul Bridge.
Based on his confession and technical evidence, including CCTV footage, the police confirmed his involvement. The case was then altered from kidnapping to murder and destruction of evidence.
The accused, Mohammed Akbar, has now been arrested and produced before court. Police also revealed that he was earlier involved in another murder case registered at Narasingi Police Station.
The swift detection and arrest were carried out by Bandlaguda Police under the supervision of senior officers.
This tragic case is not just a crime — it is a chilling reminder of how anger and cruelty can turn a father into the killer of his own innocent child."
