Today, we tried Gud Gum ( .gum ) Chewing Gum, which appeared on Shark Tank ( .india ) and received investments from Vineeta Singh, Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, and Riitesh Agrawal.
We ordered 4 flavors: Lemon, Strawberry, Spearmint, and Raspberry, and the delivery took almost 8-9 days.
Their standout feature is that they produce plastic-free chewing gum, but apart from that, there isn’t anything particularly noteworthy about them.
Honest Review:
Firstly, I’d like to mention that while their packaging is good, I found their pricing to be unreasonable. Normally, you get 1 chewing gum for ₹1 in the market, but their chewing gum is priced at ₹99 for just 15 pieces, and each piece is smaller than the average chewing gum.
The initial taste of the chewing gum is overly tangy, which personally, I didn’t enjoy much. Also, regardless of the flavor you choose, the taste fades away within just 2-3 minutes of chewing.
When you chew their chewing gum for the first time, it tends to break apart easily, and when you continue chewing, it sticks back together. This experience was quite unpleasant for me.
The aftertaste of their chewing gum is also very poor; you don’t get any flavor, it almost feels like you’re chewing a paper.
Overall, our experience was disappointing, and we recommend that you try their chewing gum for yourself, as our experience may differ from yours.
