Asthma Patient Safely Transported to Remote Village in Exemplary Humanitarian Service

Gyalshing, September 16: Under the able guidance of Commandant, 72nd Battalion SSB (Yuksam), Mr. Jai Prakash, the Battalion personnel carried out an exemplary act of humanitarian service today.

Responding swiftly to a request from GPU President, Mr. R.B. Limboo of Samvay Nambu, assistance was provided to Ms. Aita Maya Limboo, wife of Mr. Sembir Limboo, who was suffering from asthma and required urgent medical aid and safe transport to her native village, Tasenthang.

A special rescue team was immediately mobilized, equipped with necessary medical support including a stretcher. Despite the challenging geographical terrain and difficult conditions, the personnel of the 72nd Battalion successfully transported the patient to her permanent residence, ensuring her safety and wellbeing.

This timely and courageous act not only reflects the professionalism, dedication, and compassion of the SSB but also reinforces its commitment to extending humanitarian assistance to people living in remote and difficult-to-reach areas.
