मिजोरमका राज्यपालले सिक्किमको दुई दिने औपचारिक भ्रमण सम्पन्न गर्नुभयो

गङ्गटोक, अक्टोबर २६ मिजोरमका राज्यपाल, जनरल (डा.) विजय कुमार सिंह, PVSM, AVSM, YSM (सेवानिवृत्त), बुर्टुक हेलिप्याडबाट प्रस्थान गर्दै सिक्किमको आफ्नो दुई दिने औपचारिक भ्रमण सम्पन्न गर्नुभयो।

सिक्किमका राज्यपाल, श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुरले बागडोग्रा विमानस्थलसम्म उहाँको साथ दिनुभयो।

यसअघि, मिजोरमका राज्यपालले सिक्किमका राज्यपालसँगै गङ्गटोकको पाल्जोर स्टेडियममा आयोजित सिक्किम सोल्जियाथन २.० मा भाग लिएका थिए।

"Soljarathon - The Great Himalayan Connect" Dignified presence of Honorable Governors of Sikkim & Mizoram in 2.0 State Level Marathon

"Soljarathan 2" today, October 26, 2025 O - The Great Himalayan Connect" State Level Marathon Grand Event held at Paljor Stadium, Gangtok. This event was organized under the joint supervision of Black Cat Division under the cooperation of Rajbhavan Sikkim and the Trishakti Corps of Indian Army. It aims to strengthen coordination, health awareness and unity between the military and the civil society.

On this occasion Hon'ble Governor of Sikkim Mr. Om Prakash Mathur and Hon'ble Governor General V.K. Singh (S.N.), PVSM, AVSM, YSM, ADC specially attended and encouraged the participants. During this time, GOC Major General of Black Cat Division M.S. Rathore was also present.
The program was inaugurated by Hon'ble Governor, Mizoram by showing green flag to the participants.

Active participation of Cross Country Teams, Ladakh Scouts, Sikkim Scouts and Dogra Scouts from Army. The participation of the disabled in about 3000 participants from various sectors has strongly demonstrated the spirit of inclusive society.

The country's diverse cultural presentations were also organized under the marathon, which touched the hearts of all the audience.
Hon'ble Governor, Sikkim along with Hon'ble Governor of Mizoram & GOC Black Cat Division honored senior citizens to children at the prize distribution ceremony at the program. In this cash amount has been provided by Rajbhavan.

The Governor has described the event an inspiring initiative towards the state's youth power, military-social coordination and civil consciousness. He congratulated the organizing committee, army officers, participants and all the co-operative organizations for this successful event.

During this time there was an atmosphere of enthusiasm at Paljor Stadium, and thousands of citizens have made the event historic with active participation.

अध्यक्षीय सम्बोधनमा श्री राईले सिक्किमको वर्तमान खस्किँदो अवस्था र कमजोर शासन व्यवस्थाको गम्भीर समीक्षा गर्दै भन्नुभयो कि राज्यको पुनर्निर्माण र सुधारको जिम्मेवारी अब सिटिजन एक्सन पार्टी–सिक्किमले लिनुपर्ने समय आएको छ। उहाँले थप भन्नुभयो,
“लोकतन्त्रको पाँच दशक लामो अभ्यासपछि पनि सिक्किमका नागरिकले अभिव्यक्तिको स्वतन्त्रता पूर्ण रूपमा पाउन नसक्नु अत्यन्त दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण कुरा हो। नागरिकको आवाज दबाउने प्रवृत्तिका विरुद्ध हामी सधैंँ दृढतापूर्वक उभिनेछौं।” अध्यक्ष राईले प्रजातन्त्रको स्वर्ण जयन्ति पछिको राजनीतिले अब साँच्चो प्रजातन्त्रको बलियो घडेरी निर्माण गर्दै विश्व स्तरीय प्रजातान्त्रिक वातावरणको सृजना गर्न शसक्त लडाई लड्नुपर्छ भन्ने कुरामा जोड दिनुभएको थियो।

राज्यको कमजोर आर्थिक अवस्थाको प्रत्यक्ष जिम्मेवार वर्तमान सरकार रहेको बताउँदै अध्यक्ष राईले सिटिजन एक्सन पार्टी सत्तामा आएपछि प्रत्येक नागरिकको ‘कमाउने अधिकार (Right to Earn)’ सुनिश्चित गरिने बताउनुभयो। उहाँले स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा, सडक जस्ता जनजीवनसँग प्रत्यक्ष सम्बन्धित आधारभूत आवश्यकताहरूलाई प्राथमिकता दिँदै राज्यको आर्थिक संरचना मजबुत बनाउने पार्टीको नीति प्रस्तुत गर्नुभयो।

साथै, उहाँले सस्टेनेबल डेभलपमेन्ट र लोकतान्त्रिक मूल्यहरूको संरक्षण सिटिजन एक्सन पार्टी–सिक्किमको मुख्य लक्ष्य रहेको स्पष्ट पार्नुभयो। “हाम्रो संघर्ष कुनै व्यक्तिगत स्वार्थको लागि होइन, तर झूट र सामन्ती सोचका विरुद्धको वैचारिक आन्दोलन हो,” उहाँले जोड दिनुभयो।

In Sikkim, the RSS volunteers held a 'path sanchalan' (march) in Jorethang. The RSS volunteers from Namchi and Geyzing district participated in the march in uniform.

Preparatory Meeting for Upcoming Sakewa Parva Held at Naitam

A preparatory meeting for the upcoming Sakewa Parva was held today at Naitam under the Shyari constituency. The meeting was chaired by Minister Bhojraj Rai and attended by several distinguished guests, including Area MLA Tenzing Norbu Lamtha, Political Secretary to HCM Jacob Khaling Chairman RK Waling, Chairman Dr. SK Rai, Chairman Ash*t Rai, and Chairman Sanjay Dilpali. Dignitaries from AKRS, Sikkim, members of the Celebration Committee, and many individuals from the Rai community were also present.

During the meeting, Minister Bhojraj Rai highlighted the importance of Sakewa Parva as a symbol of unity and harmony among all communities. He encouraged everyone to make this celebration a festival of togetherness that promotes cultural pride and social bonding.

The meeting also discussed various preparations for the event, including arrangements, responsibilities, and participation of different groups. Members shared their ideas to ensure the smooth and successful celebration of the festival.

पछिल्ला दिनहरूमा समाजिक सञ्जालमार्फत विपक्षी पार्टीहरूद्वारा फैलाइएका भ्रामक आरोपहरूको सिक्किम क्रान्तिकारी मोर्चा (एसकेएम) पार्टी कडा शब्दमा भर्त्सना गर्दछ। अहिले आएर सिक्किम डेमोक्रेटिक फ्रन्ट (एसडीएफ) र सिटिजन एक्सन पार्टी (सीएपी) एउटै सिक्काका दुई पाटा हुन् भन्ने प्रष्टिएको छ। उनीहरूले एसकेएम पार्टीमाथि ‘फेक आईडी सञ्चालन’ र ‘विपक्षी महिला नेतृहरूलाई समाजिक सञ्जालमा अपमान गरेको’ भन्ने आरोप लगाएका छन् । तर यी सबै आरोपहरू पूर्ण रूपमा आधारहीन, भ्रामक र राजनीतिक रूपमा प्रेरित छन् ।
पहिलो कुरा, एसकेएम पार्टी हरेक प्रकारका अपमानजनक व्यवहार, मानहानी, दुर्व्यवहार र समाजिक सञ्जालको दुरुपयोगको दृढतापूर्वक विरोध गर्दछ। हामी सुरुदेखिनै ‘फेक आईडी’ र ‘कीर्ते पर्चा संस्कृतिको’ विरुद्धमा अडिग रहेका छौँ। हाम्रो सिद्धान्त पारदर्शिता, मर्यादा र जिम्मेवार संवादमा आधारित छ।

जनताले राम्रोसँग बुझेका छन्— एसडीएफ सत्तामा हुँदा कसरी विपक्षी पार्टीहरूलाई ‘कीर्ते पर्चा’ र ‘फेक आईडी’मार्फत बदनाम गर्ने गर्थ्यो भन्ने जगजाहेर छ र आज पनि त्यो प्रवृत्तिलाई नछोड़ेको स्पष्ट देखिएको छ।
आज पनि नारीहरूको चरित्र हत्या गर्ने कुत्स,त प्रयास गर्ने एसडीएफ र सीएपीका नेताहरूले नै नारी सम्मान र अधिकारको कुरा गर्नु आफैँमा बेमेल बनेको छ। महिलाको महिनावारीजस्तो प्राकृतिक विषयलाई सार्वजनिक रूपमा उपहास गर्ने, युवा कलाकार र नृत्याङ्गनाको चरित्रहत्या गर्ने अनि विगतको चुनावमा महिलालाई एउटै टिकट पनि नदिने नेताहरूबाट महिला सशक्तिकरणको पाठ एसकेएमले सिक्नुपर्ने छैन, एसकेएम पार्टी सरकारमा आएको छ वर्षको अवधिमै नारीलाई कति सशक्त अधिकार प्रदान गरेको छ भन्ने कुरा एसडीएफ र सीएपीमा बसेर नारी चरित्र हत्या गर्ने नेताहरूले पनि देखेको कुरा हो। तर उनीहरूले सत्य पचाउन नसकेर एसकेएम पार्टीमाथि दोष थोपर्नु बाहेक केही गर्न नसकेको देखिन्छ। एसकेएम पार्टी उनीहरूकै शैलीमा भन्न चाहन्छ — “जो चोर उसकै ठूलो स्वर”। आरोप लगाउने नै ती हुन् जसले समाजमा यो गलत संस्कृतिको बीउ रोपे ।
वास्तवमा, आजको एसडीएफ र सीएपीलाई न जनताको समर्थन छ, न नै कुनै ठोस मुद्दा । एसकेएम पार्टीको छवि धूमिल पार्ने प्रयास गर्नु नै उनीहरूको ‘ड्रामा राजनीति’ को एउटै उद्देश्य हो।

The 18th Anniversary of the U.S. Congressional Gold Medal conferred to His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai Lama was observed today at Cholkasum Hall, Namnang, Gangtok.

The event was organised by the Regional Tibetan Youth Congress, Gangtok, in collaboration with the Gangtok Ghoton Celebration Committee.

The programme was graced by Hon’ble Minister for Social Welfare Department-cum-Area MLA, 31-Lachen Mangan Constituency, Shri Samdup Lepcha as the Chief Guest. Chairman of SIMFED, Shri Tenzing Dorjee Bhutia, attended the event as the Special Guest.

Connect to CM and Chief Minister’s Schemes Integrated Management System Platforms Launched to Strengthen Citizen-Government Interface

Gangtok, October 14 (IPR): Secretary, CMO, Mr Karma Namgyal Bhutia, chaired a press conference regarding the launch of ‘Connect to CM’ and ‘Chief Minister’s Schemes Integrated Management System’ (CMSIMS), today at Tashiling Secretariat.

In a significant move to promote citizen-centric governance, Chief Minister Mr Prem Singh Tamang launched the ‘Connect to CM’ platform along with the Chief Minister’s Schemes Integrated Management System at Samman Bhawan on 13th October 2025. The initiative is designed to bring the government closer to the people by facilitating direct communication between citizens and the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).

Secretary, CMO, Mr Karma Namgyal Bhutia, began his keynote address by highlighting the ‘Chief Minister’s Schemes Integrated Management System’ as a transparent verification system that ensures deserving beneficiaries receive the benefits of various schemes.

He then spoke about the ‘Connect to CM’ platform, an internet-based system through which common people can share their concerns directly with the CMO and access essential services conveniently. By calling the helpline numbers 80016-81188 or 93327-81188, citizens can avail themselves of these services every day from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm, including government holidays and during festivals.

He stated that the platform is aimed at connecting the unconnected and reaching the last person at the last mile. The telephone operator will ask the caller for basic details such as their name, guardian’s name, constituency, and GPU, after which the caller’s concern will be addressed accordingly. All calls are recorded to ensure transparency and inclusiveness.

As the platform is currently operating with ten operators in its initial phase, he appealed to the public to wait patiently for their turn. He added that beneficiaries would receive a callback within 48 hours regarding the progress of their concern and also urged them to keep their necessary documents ready. The operators will then coordinate with the designated nodal officers for respective schemes and update accordingly.

Sensitisation programmes related to the schemes will be conducted at the remotest levels. Under the Planning and Development Department, Monitoring Supervisors have been appointed in each GPU, and through the office of the Assistant Director of the Panchayati Raj Department, they will be trained and sensitised.

He concluded by stating that the platform does not replace any existing programmes but serves as a supplementary system. Regarding the team, he mentioned that there are currently ten phone operators, subject to increase based on demand, and that the entire Chief Minister’s Office is part of the ‘Connect to CM’ team.

Operations have begun from today.
