गेजिङ जिल्लाको थिङ्लिङ–खेचुपेरी क्षेत्रमा जङ्गली जनावरहरूको बढ्दो आतंकप्रति म गहिरो चिन्ता व्यक्त गर्दछु। दिनप्रतिदिन भालु लगायतका जङ्गली जनावरहरूले घरपालुवा पशु–पक्षीमाथि आक्रमण गरिरहेका घटनाले स्थानीय जनमानस त्रासित बनेका छन्। हिजो मात्र थिङ्लिङ 1st क्षेत्रमा भालुले हाँस, कुखुरा, बाख्रा लगायत अन्य पशुहरूलाई आक्रमण गरी क्षति पुर्‍याएको घटना अत्यन्त दुःखद तथा चिन्ताजनक छ। यस प्रकारका घटनाले स्थानीय बासिन्दाहरूमा भय र असुरक्षाको भावना बढ्दै गएको छ भने आर्थिक रूपमा समेत ठूलो नोक्सानी व्यहोर्नु परिरहेको अवस्था रहेको छ। सम्बन्धित वन विभाग तथा प्रशासनले यस समस्यालाई गम्भीर रूपमा लिँदै तत्काल आवश्यक कदम चालेर स्थानीय बासिन्दाको सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित गर्न तथा जङ्गली जनावर नियन्त्रणका लागि शीघ्र प्रभावकारी पहल गरियोस् भन्ने हार्दिक अनुरोध गर्दछु।
