Under the visionary leadership of our Honourable Chief Minister, this initiative continues to bring governance closer to the people, right to their doorsteps. With that spirit, our health camps in Shyari Constituency come to a meaningful close today.

Yesterday at Chandmari Party Office and today at BAC Nandok , we didn’t just see numbers, we saw trust. A large number of people turned up, especially our elderly citizens, many of whom silently live with health concerns they often cannot afford to address. Being able to reach them, care for them, and simply be present for them in their own locality was truly heartfelt.

From basic health check ups to providing essential medical equipment, this effort was about making sure no one feels left behind. For many, these are services that are not easily accessible, and yet here they were, brought closer with care and intention.

This is what people centric governance looks like. Not waiting for people to come forward, but reaching out to them, standing by them, and serving with sincerity.

Today’s health camp at the Syari Constituency Party Office of the 23rd Syari Constituency was successfully conducted under the direction of the Honorable Chief Minister. Organized by the SKM Social Service Wing in collaboration with CRC, the camp witnessed strong participation, especially from senior citizens. A large number of individuals were attended to, receiving medical check-ups, diagnoses, and necessary medical guidance from healthcare professionals. Essential medical equipment and support aids were also distributed to those in need, ensuring continued care beyond the camp.

The program was carried out in the presence of the Honourable Panchayat members of the 23rd Syari Constituency, along with the OSD to HMLA and the CLC President of Syari, reflecting a collective commitment towards community welfare and accessible healthcare for all.

🔴 LIVE | Health Camp Underway Today

Under the guidance of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, the Social Service Wing of Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM), in collaboration with the Composite Regional Centre (CRC), successfully organized a comprehensive health check-up camp today at Conmunity Hall, above Deorali taxi stand , Arithang Constituency.

A dedicated team of doctors from various government departments provided essential medical consultations and screenings, ensuring accessible healthcare for the community.

In addition, assistive devices such as wheelchairs, walking sticks, knee supports, hearing aids, and other essential medical equipment were distributed to beneficiaries, aiming to improve mobility and overall quality of life.

The program was graced by the presence of Shri Arun Kumar Upreti, Hon’ble Minister for Rural Development & Cooperation, Government of Sikkim, Shri Lakpa Moktan, State Youth Wing President, SKM along with Councillors and CLC president of Arithang Constituency.

This initiative reflects a continued commitment towards community welfare—because health is not an expense, but an investment we must never delay.

‼️ Happening Now: Health Check-Up Camp Underway


Under the guidance of Hon’ble Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang,
the SKM Social Service Wing, in collaboration with CRC Sikkim, is organizing the Health Check-Up Camp, currently underway at the Community Hall, Deorali Taxi Stand.

This initiative is a step towards health awareness, early detection, and a stronger community, offering free check-ups including blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI, and various screenings. Essential medical support such as wheelchairs, walkers, and walking aids are also being provided to those in need.

We warmly request all residents nearby to come forward and be a part of this meaningful social cause 🙏🏻✨

Social Service Wing – Financial Assistance

Continuing its commitment towards extending timely support to those in need, the Social Service Wing provided financial assistance to the following individuals facing medical challenges:

• Mr. Enoch Rai of 23 Syari Constituency, who is currently caring for his 7-month premature baby, requiring continued medical attention and care.

• Mr. Deepesh Basnett of Lower Jitlang, Rangpo, who sought assistance for the retina treatment of his father.

Such small yet meaningful efforts aim to provide relief and encouragement to families during difficult times. The Social Service Wing remains committed to standing with the community and extending support wherever possible 🙏🏻✨💛

Phutti Chettri (Sherpa), mother of Ravi Chettri from 3rd Mile, JN Road, Ward No. 1, Kyangnosla GPU, Kabi Lungchok Constituency, recently suffered a brain stroke and has been bedridden.

For patients in such conditions, a specialized medical air mattress is essential to provide comfort and prevent further complications. However, the cost of such equipment is extremely high, making it difficult for families from the BPL category to afford.

Through the timely support of the Government of Sikkim and the dedicated efforts of the Social Service Wing, this much-needed mattress was provided to the family. What began as a humble request has now become a moment of relief and hope for them.

The family expressed heartfelt gratitude to the SKM Government for extending support during a difficult time.

This is governance reaching people where it matters most — at their doorstep, when they need it the most.
