SIKKIM AND ARUNACHAL SHARE VISION FOR TOURISM, CM TAMANG ATTENDS ZIRO FESTIVAL

During his visit to the ongoing Ziro Music Festival in Arunachal Pradesh, the Chief Ministers of Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh said that both states share a common vision for tourism and look forward to future collaborations. Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang was warmly received by Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu and was accompanied by Tourism Minister Bhutia, MLA Sanjeet Kharel, Additional Chief Secretary (Tourism) C.S. Rao, Press Secretary Yougan Tamang, IPR Secretary Annapurna Alley, OSD Rewaj Chettri, and other senior officials. During the visit, CM Tamang explored various festival stalls and the Sikkim Pavilion showcasing the state’s culture, cuisine, and tourism opportunities. As the official state partner of the festival running from September 25 to 28, Sikkim’s participation highlights the commitment of both states to promote cultural exchange and tourism in the Northeast.
