Face in the Crowd
Check out these stories from the Sikkim NOW! archives. I went there too, not to mend my footwear but to speak to this crowd of faces and know them individually. Bangali....

Sikkim Ko is excited to return after a long break, and fittingly, it coincides with National Press Day—a fortunate and meaningful occasion. We hope that you are still willing to give us your precious time and watch or just listen to this episode of Sikkim Ko Kura. Mental health has become never been more important and in this episode clinical psychologists Dr Sangela Dorjee and Dr Sibi Poulose shed some light on what is mental health and how we can address mental health issues. A lot of technical glitches posed immense challenges on the day of recording but we still managed to pull through so if you are disappointed, we apologize in advance.

There is still hope for Gangtok's jhoras
Upendra Gurung is an architect by training and a civic-minded professional by nature. A resident of Tadong, Gangtok, he grew up being told that ‘College Jhora’ used to be a mountain stream at one time but has known it only as an urban drain. He understands the problem. Now, he has deployed his skills and experience to draw up a plan on how Gangtok’s jhoras can be redeveloped into pleasant and productive public spaces. He takes SikkimKo on a walk along College Jhora, talking through the problem and sharing possible solutions.
