विश्व पर्यटन दिवसको अवसरमा हार्दिक शुभकामना!
माननीय मुख्यमन्त्री श्री प्रेम सिंह तामाङले विश्व पर्यटन दिवसको अवसरमा विशेष गरी जनता र पर्यटन क्षेत्रका सरोकारवालाहरूमा हार्दिक शुभकामना व्यक्त गर्नुभएको छ।
"आज, हामी हाम्रो ग्रहको सौन्दर्य र विविधता, हाम्रो साझा सम्पदाको समृद्धि र पर्यटनले व्यक्ति र समुदाय दुवैका लागि सिर्जना गर्ने असीमित अवसरहरूको उत्सव मनाउँदैछौं।
सिक्किममा, पर्यटन हाम्रो मनमोहक प्राकृतिक दृश्य र जीवन्त संस्कृतिको उत्सव हो, यो संसारलाई न्यानोपनका साथ स्वागत गर्ने, चिरस्थायी सम्बन्धहरू निर्माण गर्ने, र हाम्रा प्राकृतिक तथा सांस्कृतिक खजानाहरूलाई आउने पुस्ताका लागि पनि संरक्षण गर्ने माध्यम हो।

Under-15 Football Tournament Organised at Ralong on Dussehra

Ralong, West Pendam (Pakyong District), Sept 26:
On the occasion of Dussehra, Ralung Football Club organised an Under-15 Football Tournament at Ralong, West Pendam Constituency. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from young players, showcasing their sporting talents on the field.

Mr. C.P. Bhattarai graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, he encouraged the budding footballers to pursue the sport with dedication and highlighted the importance of youth engagement in constructive activities like sports.

*"Reaching New Heights for a Noble Cause: 5 Friends Conquer World's Highest Motorable Road to Promote 50 years of Statehood and Nasha Mukt Sikkim, an Anti-Drug Message and CM's Vision"*

In a remarkable feat of adventure and dedication, five friends embarked on an extraordinary journey to the world's highest motorable road, *Umling La Pass, leh - ladakh (India),* to spread a powerful message: *"Say No to Drugs"* and promote 50 years of Statehood, the visionary thoughts of their Chief Minister.

The group, comprising *Abhinash Pradhan, Amon Pradhan, Uttam Chettri, Anish Kr Sharma & Ashwini Kr Gupta* representing (*Leisure Rider Sikkim*) traversed treacherous terrain and extreme weather conditions to reach the 19,024-ft high pass. Their mission was not only to conquer the daunting altitude but also to inspire others to join the fight against substance abuse and embrace the values of a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

*The Journey*

The friends began their journey from *West Pendam (Sikkim)* which was flagged off by *Mrs. Basundhara Sharma ( Ward Panchayat, Sakhu) & Man Bahadur Pradhan ,* braving rugged roads and harsh climate conditions. Along the way, they interacted with locals, spreading awareness about the dangers of drug addiction and the importance of adopting a positive, substance-free lifestyle.

*Promoting CM's Thought*

The group also aimed to promote the Honorable Chief Minister's *Prem Singh Tamang (Golay)* vision for a society free from substance abuse, where young people can thrive and reach their full potential. They distributed pamphlets, displayed banners, and engaged in discussions with locals to disseminate the CM's message.

*Inspiring Others*

Through their remarkable journey, the five friends hope to inspire others to join the anti-drug movement and work towards creating a healthier, more empowered society. Their bravery and determination serve as a testament to the human spirit's capacity to overcome challenges and make a positive impact.

The group's successful expedition to Umling La Pass is a shining example of teamwork, perseverance, and dedication to a noble cause. As they return home, they carry with them not only unforgettable memories but also the knowledge that they've made a difference in the lives of others.
