A proud milestone for Atvi Studios.

Our documentary, Aranya Prahari: Keepers of the Wild, has officially been selected for the All Living Things Environmental Film Festival (ALT EFF) 2026, marking our first international festival selection on FilmFreeway.

This recognition belongs to every forest guardian, conservationist and community whose stories inspired the film. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. Here's to many more stories that celebrate people, nature and the spirit of conservation.

🎬 10 March 1935 - A Historic Beginning

On this day, "JOYMOTI", the first Assamese talkie film directed by Rupkonwar Jyotiprasad Agarwala was based on the play Sati Joymoti written by Lakshminath Bezbaroa, set against the backdrop of 17th-century Assam.

Aideu Handique portrayed the lead role of Joymoti, becoming the first actress of Assamese cinema
