"When I look back at my past I can't help but realise how beautiful it used to be and how little things used to make me happy.
Waking up early everyday to watch my favourite TV shows didn't feel like an hassle. Playing hide and seek, exchanging ghost stories, stone skipping, gully cricket were just some of those interesting activities I used to do with my cousin's and friends.
_
Everything was so peaceful and everyday felt like an adventure where fun wasn't limited and even if I came back home a little bruised there used to be this smile on my face which expressed " Eh eku nai besi duph pua nai tu " .
_
Back then I wanted to grow up so fast that everytime someone told me " Enjoy your childhood while it lasts" ,it didn't make any sense to me at all .
_
But, as time passed and I slowly and steadily grew up I realised that I should've actually done more stuff when I was little , since the freedom that a child holds is quite different from the freedom an adult holds .
In our childhood we aspire to be adults and in our adulthood we search for that little kid inside us that was lost a long time back.
_
Quite a funny world isn't it ? Where we long for something we lack yet forget to live in the moment that and cherish what we hold. So stop complaining and live in the moment because this time isn't going to come back ,you can spend it regretting about the things you didn't do or the things you weren't able to achieve or you can simply live in the moment and enjoy the present in order to make a better future. "
