International Family day is on May 15th. It's the support of our families that helps us serve society. Friendship, understanding and cooperation within the family helps us to show the same to the community at large.

We had a lovely time at our Family get together over the weekend for convenience. Members brought all family members, children, inlaws parents, so we could meet each other.
Members shared their experiences to motivate upcoming members.
We played games Family Antakshari,an opportunity to sing songs old and new
and Family Housie!
Dances by family members were enjoyed.
Lots of chatter, merriment and good food. The ambience was lovely,in the park.
We had a very enjoyable evening.

Friendship and Service again! 😊

It was wonderful to meet IWC Gurgaon South City members led by President Meena Saini and of course D Sec Manisha Kaushik today after a lapse of 6 years when as AP, I had a lovely Teej at Manisha's place when my dear friend late Ranjana Swaroop took me there with another dear friend Indu Gupta.

Today my home club IWC Giridih joined them to handover 2 high-end power Sewing machines,for industrial level stitching to Harmony house where poor women learn stitching first and then can do work on contract.

The centre was started to educate or keep girl children occupied when mothers worked and has become a beautiful centre of education, care, vocational training of many kinds.
Kudos to IWC Gurgaon South City for supporting them. Gratitude for making my club and me a part of this project.

It's lovely to meet our members and be encircled in the love and companionship that Inner Wheel gives us.☺️

April Diaries Dehradun
Inner Wheel has given me such good friends and I am holidaying with 2 of them now. Patricia Hilton and Megha Bansal picked me from the station and we are set to spend 3 days together!
My club did a joint project of giving 2 Steel almirahs for books at a Government High school upto class 12 for girls.
Then it was lunch and fellowship with IWC Dehradun members. Lovely meeting so many of them.
I also got an opportunity to visit a regular project place of IWC Dehradun and met young orphan girls at Mahila ashram,of classes 2-12. I gave them a pep talk,and snacks and juice from both our clubs was distributed.
Then it was sightseeing time Forest Research Institute and their Museum and
Mind rolling Monastery.
It was a delight to see Patricia's pretty junior school
And spend the night at Meghas beautiful resort
Day 1 done. ..

A Cool drinking water pot was also arranged for them .

*A talk on Drug awareness given by Dr.Payal Verma to the students of Utkramit Madhya Vidyalaya Rajpura .
*A talk on Menstrual Health and Hygiene given by President Rekha Tarway to the girls of Utkramit Madhya Vidyalaya Rajpura and sanitary napkin distributed to them .
* A cool drinking water pyau set up in front of R.K.Mahila College ,Giridih for the students and general public .

It is common to celebrate Holi with friends and loved ones.
But INNER WHEEL CLUB GIRIDIH Members with the co-operation of members of MAHURI MAHILA SAMITI GANDEY shared the joy of Holi with the women of Budhudih village of Gandey block.
On the occasion of Holi, the club members tried to add some colour in their life by giving a set of saree, petticoat and blouse , gulal and sweets to 50 needy women of the village.

Inner Wheel Club of Giridih celebrated 32nd Charter Day very joyously.
We had a regular meeting, New member Induction was done by PP Shabana Rabbani and the history of our club was recalled by PAP Prabha Raghunandan in an interesting manner. All members felt very motivated to do more in the future.
A delicious Cake was cut.... Prepared by PP Chanchal Bhadani and enjoyed by all.
We also enjoyed great fellowship. .
