VIBRANT VILLAGE PROGRAMME

Strength : 85 Cadets, 01 PI, 01 ANO

On behalf of 30 Assam Bn NCC, Goreswar College NCC has coducted VVP at Bihangpur Village in Tamulpur District, Assam on 18th August, 2025. A total of 85 Cadets, 01 ANO, 01 PI Staff participated in the event. The Cadets walked through most part of the Village and interacted with villagers of this remote border village of Assam. The cadets highlighted the spirit of taking pride in our own culture and heritage and spread awareness on various Govt. Welfare schemes & initiatives. A traditional gamcha was presented to the 4 senior most villagers of the village. Total 30 villagers allongwith kids and students has participated in this programme. Tea and snacks are offered to all. We have presented pencils and pens for little kids to encourage for education. Our team talked about the issues like importance of Education, youth and women empowerment, health and hygiene etc.
Our cadets also participated in a Tree plantation and Swachata Programme in the Village (Bathou Mandir campus).

VILLAGE PROGRAMME ASSAM
On behalf of Bn NCC,
College NCC has coducted VVP

Holongbari (Kumarpara) village in District, Assam July, 2025. A total of 57 cadets, 01 ANO, 01 PI Staff , 25 ex cadets participated in the event. The Cadets walked through most part of the Village and interacted with villagers of this remote border village of Assam. The cadets highlighted the spirit of taking pride in our own culture and heritage and spread awareness on various Govt Welfare schemes & initiatives. A traditional gamcha was presented to the 3 senior most famale villagers (Kandheri Boro 80, Bhabani Boro 70, Bharati Boro 60) of the village. Total 30 villagers allongwith kids and students has participated in this programme. Tea and snacks are offered to all. We have presented pencils and pens for little kids to encourage for education. Our team talked about the issues like importance of Education, youth and women empowerment, health and hygiene etc.
Our cadets also participated in a swachata programme in the village.
