MLA Gulmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah Holds Public Darbar at Wailoo & Khaipora Blocks; Leads Constitution Day Event*

MLA Gulmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah today held a Public Darbar at Walioo and Khaipora blocks of his constituency to directly listen to the issues of local residents. People shared concerns related to basic amenities, development, and public services, and the MLA assured them that all genuine grievances will be resolved at the earliest.

On Constitution Day, Celebrated on 26th of November across the country, MLA Farooq Ahmad Shah also led the celebrations at Government High School Wailoo, where the Preamble reading ceremony was held with students, teachers, and local representatives.

In his address, the MLA highlighted the importance of the Indian Constitution, calling it the supreme law that ensures justice, equality, and fundamental rights for every citizen. He said the Constitution is the guiding framework that strengthens democracy and helps maintain unity and fairness in society.

Officials from all concerned departments attended the Public Darbar, enabling quick responses and proper follow-up on public demands. The outreach programme aims to bring governance closer to the people and ensure effective delivery of services at the grassroots level.

Sheikh Gayasuddin Welcomes Daily Parcel Train, Says Move Will Boost Apple Economy Ganderbal, Sept 11: The National Conference (NC) Ganderbal unit today held a convention at the party office in Ganderbal, presided over by the newly appointed District President, Sheikh Gayasuddin. Party workers extended a warm welcome to him on assuming the new responsibility. Addressing the media, Sheikh Gayasuddin said, β€œGive me some time, I have a vision to develop Ganderbal.” On being asked about the detention of MLA Mehraj Malik under the Public Safety Act (PSA), he remarked that Malik is a public representative and imposing PSA on him is β€œunethical.” Sheikh Gayasuddin also welcomed the announcement of a daily parcel train from Budgam to New Delhi by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, saying the move would bring huge relief to apple growers and boost the economy of Jammu and Kashmir.

1) EKYC of every member seeded in Ration cards of any category i.e AAY, PHH Or NPHH is a mandatory process, with a deadline of 31 July 2025

2) Those members who will fail to carry our EKYC process will be declared as Fake Souls and will be accordingly removed from Ration cards.

3) Rationee needs to visit Nearest ration stores along with AADHAR CARD wherein the Storekeeper will carry out EKYC of the said person by taking Biometric authentication.

4) Rationee can also do Online EKYC by installing MERA eKYC App on mobile phones, entering Aadhar number. An OTP will be generated on a mobile number linked with AADHAR then Facial authentication will be done through AADHARFACERD Mobile application & a message will pop up confirming that eKYC has been successfully done. In that case no need to visit Ration stores

Noor-ul-Ain Trust Organizes Fourth Phase of Marriage Assistance Distribution in Kanhama

Kanhama, April 26: Noor-ul-Ain Trust (NGO) organized a special ceremony in Kanhama, where wedding kits were distributed during the fourth phase of their initiative to fifty orphaned and destitute girls belonging to poor families. The event witnessed the participation of various notable personalities and dignitaries from different sections of the community.

Speaking at the ceremony, the speakers emphasized that it is the duty of every individual to support the marriage arrangements of orphaned and destitute girls. They praised the tireless efforts of Noor-ul-Ain Trust officials for their dedication and unwavering commitment to serving those in need.

The girls who received the wedding kits expressed their happiness and heartfelt gratitude. During the event, individuals who have made outstanding contributions to society were also honored for their exemplary service.

While speaking to the media, Chairman of Noor-ul-Ain Trust, Fayaz Ahmad, said, "Today we organized the fourth phase of marriage assistance kit distribution to 50 girls from poor families. I am very thankful to those who are supporting us through their donations." He further urged the community to conduct marriages in a simple and modest manner to ease the financial burden on families.

The event concluded with a message of hope, solidarity, and encouragement for the collective responsibility of uplifting the underprivileged sections of society.
