DFO Gumla, Mr. Ahmad Belal Anwar sir ko apni painting bhent karte hue. Painting ko dekhkar unki prasannata aur aashcharya dekhna mere liye bahut hi khaas anubhav raha. Unhone protsahan dete hue kaha ki ek din aap bhi M. F. Husain jaise prasiddh kalakar ban sakte hain.

Yeh mere liye hadd se zyada khushi aur garv ka pal tha. Prakriti aur paryavaran sanrakshan ko samarpit is vishesh din ki yeh yaad hamesha mere saath rahegi. 🎨🌱🙏

Blue Mosque, officially known as the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, is one of the most famous landmarks in Istanbul. It was built during the Ottoman Empire and is admired for its magnificent architecture and spiritual atmosphere. 🕌✨

History

The mosque was commissioned by Sultan Ahmed I. Construction began in 1609 and was completed in 1616. At that time, the Ottoman Empire wanted to showcase its cultural and religious strength through a grand imperial mosque.

It was built near the famous Hagia Sophia, creating one of the most iconic architectural views in the world.

Why is it called the “Blue Mosque”? 💙

The mosque received the nickname “Blue Mosque” because of the thousands of beautiful blue İznik tiles decorating its interior walls. When sunlight enters through the windows, the inside glows with soft blue tones.

Architecture

The mosque is famous for:

* Its 6 tall minarets
* A massive central dome
* More than 200 stained-glass windows
* Elegant Islamic calligraphy and floral designs

Its design combines traditional Islamic architecture with Ottoman artistic style, making it one of the greatest masterpieces of its era.

Interesting Fact 🌙

The six minarets once caused controversy because Masjid al-Haram also had six minarets at that time. Later, an additional minaret was added in Mecca.

Today, the Blue Mosque is both:

* an active place of worship
* and one of the world’s most visited historical monuments.

من اپنا پرانا پاپی ہے، برسوں میں نمازی بن نہ سکا۔
They built the mosque overnight with the warmth of faith,
Yet this sinful heart of mine could not become devoted in years.
मस्जिद तो बना दी शब भर में ईमाँ की हरारत वालों ने,
मन अपना पुराना पापी है, बरसों में नमाज़ी बन न सका।
Masjid to bana di shab bhar mein imaan ki hararat walon ne,
Man apna purana paapi hai, barson mein namazi ban na saka.
