Heart attack vs Cardiac arrest - know the 3 difference
👉Cardiac arrest and heart attack are two different conditions, although cardiac arrest can occur after a heart attack.
👉Heart attack occur more commonly in older people and those with risk factors for heart disease
👉Cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, at any time, whether or not they have pre-existing heart disease.
👉In heart attack heart may continue to beat and only the blood supply to the heart is compromised,
👉Cardiac arrest is sudden, unexpected loss of electrical heart function, breathing, and consciousness.

chest pain, shortness of breath, nausea

Sudden collapse, no pulse, no breathing
✅In both cases, the patient should be immediately taken to the nearest hospital. If the person is unconscious or not breathing and if you know how to do CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), start it immediately.
