Bollywood Actor Sonu Sood Meets 8-Year-Old Abhijot Singh Battling Kidney Disorder

In a heart-touching gesture, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood on Sunday met 8-year-old Abhijot Singh, a young boy from Punjab suffering from Nephrotic Syndrome, a serious kidney disorder.

Abhijot, who lives in Talwandi Rai Dadu village in Ajnala, needs to visit PGIMER Hospital, Chandigarh, every two months for treatment. Each visit, including travel and medical expenses, costs around ₹45,000, putting a huge financial burden on his family.

Tragically, Abhijot’s family lost their only source of income after the recent Punjab floods destroyed their farmland and crops. The situation had left the family struggling to afford his treatment.

After learning about Abhijot’s condition, Sonu Sood recently promised to help and has now personally met the little warrior at the hospital.
