Perhaps the relationship of faith and respect is greater than the blood relation, that is why for the last 4 days I have been feeling restless, a strange kind of restlessness has taken over my heart and mind, as if someone has taken out my heart from my body, I feel like saying a lot of things and crying with force but I am unable to cry.
All the people of the 90's who must have passed their school and college days listening to Zubeen's songs, only they can relate to what I want to say, my love for Assamese songs happened because of Zubeen Da, his voice is not just a voice, it is a feeling that reaches straight to the soul, every artist cannot make a place in someone's heart to the aching soul that Zubeen Da has made, his sudden untimely departure cannot console anyone because this heart and mind is not ready to accept it.
The dream of meeting you once, of seeing you face to face has remained just a dream, every single word of your song is making me cry, I am not able to do any work, nor am I able to think of anything else. I know that in a few days everyone will go back to their normal lives, I will have to go too, but somewhere an emptyness will work in my heart inside out. but still it seems as if our time has stopped for you, as if everything has become dark, the music, the tunes, all the memories deep inside, which used to be an illuminating scene, all have vanished in the darkness today. I cannot cry publically ZUBEEN DA , but every minutes m crying inside like anything, feeling a pain in heart constantly, can't express my feelings through my writings , love you ZUBEEN da😭.
