Genesis has unveiled the GV90, its largest and most luxurious model yet, entering the full-size electric SUV segment. The flagship EV features a 123.5kWh battery, dual-motor AWD producing 544hp and 800Nm, and around 500km of claimed range.

The GV90 also brings an ultra-luxurious four-seat Neolun variant, coach doors, swivelling front seats, a 23.6-inch OLED display and a 25-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system.

The MINI Cooper is reportedly heading toward a major electric transformation.

MINI is said to be developing an electric-only Cooper that could use BMW’s next-generation eDrive technology to send power directly to the rear wheels—potentially bringing a new mix of instant EV performance, classic MINI agility, and rear-wheel-drive dynamics.

If this makes production, the next-generation electric MINI could be one of the most interesting small performance EVs to watch.

The 2027 Hyundai Tucson has been revealed with a dramatically redesigned exterior and a more premium cabin. Its new “Art of Steel” design brings a boxier stance, full-width LED lighting, flared wheel arches and a more muscular profile. The SUV is also larger than its predecessor, promising improved cabin space.

Inside, the Tucson gets a modern two-tone dashboard, digital instrumentation, a large tablet-style touchscreen, mood lighting and a more upscale centre console. Hyundai is yet to reveal the powertrain details.

Aston Martin has revealed the new Valen GT at Monterey Car Week, making it the brand’s most powerful front-engined production car. Powered by a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12, it produces 850hp and 1,000Nm, sending power to the rear wheels through an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

The Valen can sprint from 0-100kph in 3.1 seconds and reach an electronically limited 345kph. Extensive use of carbon fibre, aluminium, titanium and magnesium also makes it 110kg lighter than the Vanquish. Production will be limited to just 150 units, with deliveries starting in Q2 2027.

Mahindra has unveiled the Scorpio Lifestyler, its new lifestyle pickup based on the Scorpio N’s body-on-frame platform. The rugged double-cab pickup gets a muscular design, 4WD capability and is expected to use the Scorpio N’s 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines.

Set to launch in India by April 2027, the Scorpio Lifestyler is expected to start below ₹19.79 lakh (ex-showroom), putting it directly against the Toyota Hilux and Isuzu D-Max V-Cross.
