Bihar’s ‘Swar Kokila’ Sharda Sinha has passed away. She took her last breath on Tuesday night at around 9:20 p.m. at AIIMS Delhi. Truly, it marks the end of an era. Known as the voice of Chhath Puja songs, Padma Bhushan Sharda Sinha bid farewell to this world on the first day of Chhath Puja, ‘Nahay-Khay’. Her voice had a special place in the hearts of every Bihari. After a long battle with cancer, Sharda Sinha had been admitted to the hospital for a week. Her passing has left us with an irreplaceable legacy.
Her voice will forever resonate in our hearts. Tribute to Sharda Sinha, our beloved Swar Kokila.

विश्व प्रसिद्ध ग्यारहवें ज्योतिर्लिंग, श्री केदारनाथ धाम के कपाट भैयादूज के पावन पर्व पर रविवार सुबह 08:30 बजे शीतकाल के लिए बंद कर दिए गए। इस विशेष अवसर पर केदारपुरी "जय बाबा केदार" के जयकारों से गुंजायमान हो उठी। भारतीय सेना के बैंड की भक्तिमय धुनों के बीच वैदिक विधि-विधान और परंपराओं के अनुसार मंदिर के कपाट बंद किए गए।

इस आयोजन में श्री बदरीनाथ-केदारनाथ मंदिर समिति के पदाधिकारियों सहित 15,000 से अधिक श्रद्धालु शामिल हुए और इस ऐतिहासिक क्षण के साक्षी बने। कपाट बंद होने के विशेष अवसर पर मंदिर को दीपावली से ही भव्य रूप से 10 क्विंटल फूलों से सजाया गया था, जिससे इसकी सुंदरता और दिव्यता और भी बढ़ गई।

Ratan Tata: दिग्गज उद्योगपति रतन टाटा ने 86 साल की आयु में अंतिम सांस ली। उनका निधन मुंबई के अस्पताल में हुआ। टाटा के निधन पर राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मु, प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी, गृह मंत्री अमित शाह, रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह और लोकसभा में नेता प्रतिपक्ष राहुल गांधी समेत शीर्ष हस्तियों ने टटकन शोक व्यक्त किया है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने टाटा को दूरदर्शी सोच का व्यक्ति बताया और अपनी संवेदना प्रकट करते हुए असाधारण इंसान करार दिया। रतन टाटा को राष्ट्र निर्माण में उल्लेखनीय योगदान के लिए साल 2008 में देश के दूसरे सर्वोच्च नागरिक सम्मान- पद्म विभूषण से सम्मानित किया गया था।
सोमवार को भी रतन टाटा की तबीयत बिगड़ने की खबर आई थी, लेकिन रतन टाटा ने कुछ देर बार ही खुद इस खबर का खंडन किया था। उन्होंने जनता और मीडिया से गलत सूचना फैलाने से दूरी बरतने का अनुरोध करते हुए कहा कि चिंता की कोई बात नहीं है। मैं ठीक हूं। मुंबई के अस्पताल में भर्ती होने की खबरों को अफवाह बताते हुए 86 वर्षीय टाटा ने कहा था कि यह दावे निराधार हैं।
