After nearly six years, dragon boating returned to Marina Bay with the IHH Healthcare x Singapore Sea Regatta 2025, carrying with it more than competition; it carried a cause.

Mental health remains one of the most pressing yet under-discussed challenges in Singapore. Thatโ€™s why this yearโ€™s theme, โ€œRise Above the Wavesโ€, mattered so much. The event brought together over 1,900 participants from 77 teams across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China alongside a two-day carnival of wellness talks and family-friendly activities, showing how sport can spark conversations that break stigma and build resilience.
