🎖️ Spotlight on the Wrong Stage? Time to Reflect… 🇮🇳

While award shows sparkle under the glare of flashy sponsors and cameras capture celebrity kids posing on red carpets as if rewriting history, a quiet, powerful silence echoes from the wrestling pits, running tracks, and stadiums of India. That silence belongs to our real champions — the Olympic heroes.

These athletes don’t arrive in designer suits or PR-crafted glam. They enter the arena with bruised bodies, breathless determination, and a heart full of resolve. Their sparkle is in their sweat, and their strength is carved from sacrifice — not spotlight.

Yet, where does our attention go? We cheer louder for movie muscles than for medals. We double-tap dance reels, but scroll past record-breaking jumpers, runners, lifters, and fighters.

In a country where stardom is often inherited, our true stars rise from broken fields, cracked mats, and leaking roofs — fueled by dreams that many consider out of reach. And what do they get?
A delayed headline.
A brief mention.
A moment of applause that vanishes with the next viral clip.

Remember when hearing the national anthem at a medal ceremony brought tears to our eyes? Somewhere along the way, fame became manufactured and sacrifice overlooked. But our athletes don’t just compete — they fight battles far beyond the arena: poverty, indifference, and a lack of support.

They come from places where hope is rare — and still, they dare to rise.

It’s time we change our lens.

Let’s ask ourselves: Who worked through sleepless nights? Who bled to make the flag fly high?
Not who wore the most expensive outfit, or who danced best on screen.

Applaud the girl who broke her limits to win bronze.
Salute the boy who fought barefoot and returned with gold.
Celebrate the unseen heroes — no filters, no favors, no fuss.

Because in the end, India’s true pride isn’t walking a runway… it’s standing tall on a podium.

🇮🇳 Salute the struggle. Salute the silence.
Because that silence? It’s louder than any spotlight.

Congratulations

Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra's chemistry in 'Sholay' as Jai and Veeru is still considered as a testament of friendship and as a reference even in the pop culture today. The film remains immortal. Did you know that initially Shatrughan Sinha was supposed to be a part of the film but later Amitabh Bachchan was cast as Dharmendra recommended him.

The actor was once asked about it, he told Rajat Sharma on 'Aap Ki Adaalat'. When asked if he helped Big B get 'Sholay', he said, "Main yeh kisi ko nahi bolta. Lekin ab Amitabh khud bolne lage hai. Woh role Shatru (Shatrughan Sinha) ko jaa raha tha. Shatru ko pataa chala toh usne kaha, paaji kyun mera role de diya. Maine kaha yaar tu samajh nahi aata. Woh aaya tha toh maine socha usko milna chahiye."

He had also said in an interview with ANI about what happened. "Amitabh sahab (He used to come to meet me. Mr. Amitabh.) He used to sit next to me. To Maine Ramesh Sippy ji ko kaha yeh naya ladka hai usko awaaz se to lagta hai bahut acha kaam karega...unki jo andar se chahna thi..jo khud se pyar karne ki khoobsurati thi vo achi lagi..maine kaha inko lelo (So I told him to take him)," said the legendary actor.

A New Star Rises in Indian Wrestling: Kritika Rajput Becomes ‘Himachal Kesari 2025’

A powerful new name is echoing across the wrestling arenas of India — Kritika Rajput, who has recently been crowned Himachal Kesari 2025. This title is not just a testament to her personal grit and dedication, but a glowing example of the strength and talent of daughters from Himachal Pradesh.

From a Small Village to the National Arena
Kritika hails from a small village in Himachal Pradesh. Despite limited resources, she grew up with the freedom to dream big. Her father is a farmer and her mother a homemaker. Though the family lived a modest life, Kritika always had an extraordinary determination to achieve something big.

She began her training in a local village akhara (wrestling pit), where she learned not just techniques, but the values of falling, rising, and fighting back. That very struggle has now carved her path to national recognition.

The Crown of ‘Himachal Kesari’
In the 2025 State-Level Wrestling Championship, Kritika emerged victorious by winning five consecutive bouts. She defeated opponents who were more experienced and professionally trained, proving that with dedication, discipline, and self-belief, any summit can be conquered.

Her victory is not just a medal or a crown — it has become a beacon of hope and inspiration for girls across Himachal. Kritika now represents a voice that proudly says, "Daughters are not just the pride of homes, but also of wrestling arenas."

Family and Coach — The Pillars of Her Journey
Kritika’s journey wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of her parents and the mentorship of her coach. Her coach shared, “She had a unique fire from day one. She would train for four to five hours daily without ever complaining.”

Even in the face of financial challenges, her family prioritized her training needs. After school, hours of practice, injuries, fatigue — nothing broke her spirit.

Eyes Set on the Future
Kritika is now preparing for the Junior Asian Wrestling Championship 2026. Her dream is clear — to represent India at the Olympics and bring home the gold.

With her dedication and talent, Kritika Rajput is well on her way to becoming a name the world will remember — not just as a wrestler, but as a symbol of courage, resilience, and change.

Salman Khan’s latest film Sikandar has faced a major blow even before it could try and recover from poor reviews. The action film, directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE), was leaked online a day before its official Eid 2025 release, causing a massive 91 crore Rs loss, according to reports. A source close to the production shared, “This wasn’t a small leak, the pirated version was high-quality, with many scenes that weren’t even in the final cut. Some VFX shots were unfinished too.” This case is now headed towards an insurance claim, with Nadiadwala Grandson preparing to recover part of the loss through piracy coverage, a clause some major productions include in high-budget films. If successful, this could become one of the largest piracy-related claims in Bollywood history.
