Pallavi Joshi, the producer of The Bengal Files, has made a bold statement about Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. In a recent interaction, she called SRK "unfit" for their kind of cinema and said that if he ever works in their films, he would need to put in much more hard work.

This comment has sparked discussions across social media, as Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most celebrated actors in the Indian film industry with a massive global fan following. Pallavi Joshi’s remark comes at a time when content-driven cinema and films with strong socio-political narratives are gaining prominence.

The Bengal Files is expected to follow the path of The Kashmir Files and The Kerala Story, focusing on hard-hitting realities and intense storytelling. With such a statement, Pallavi Joshi has once again ignited a debate about the difference between mainstream Bollywood films and issue-based cinema.

🥉🇮🇳 The Forgotten Champion of India – Deepthi Jeevanji’s Unheard Glory 🌟🏃‍♀️

It is a matter of real sadness that the nation barely knows the name of Deepthi Jeevanji, a para-athlete in the T20 category, whose achievements deserve to echo across every corner of India. In the 2024 Paris Paralympics, she made history by winning a bronze medal in the 400m event, bringing pride to the country on one of the world’s biggest sporting stages. Yet, beyond a few fleeting headlines, her story was left in the shadows. 💔

But Deepthi’s journey did not stop there. At the 2024 World Championships, she carved her name into history by setting a world record in the 400m event — a feat that should have made her a household name. Her performance wasn’t just about medals; it was about breaking barriers, redefining possibilities, and showing the world the spirit of Indian resilience. 🌍🔥

The tragedy lies not in her struggle, but in our silence. While celebrities and cricketers dominate conversations, a true champion like Deepthi remains unknown to many. Her story is not just about speed on the track — it is about the power of perseverance, courage, and determination that can inspire generations. 🙌

👉 Deepthi Jeevanji is not just a para-athlete; she is a symbol of hope and pride for India. Her name deserves to shine bright, not be forgotten in the pages of history.

जय हिंद 🇮🇳 नहीं लिखोगे 😭

The Punjab Kings dugout was filled with raw emotion on Tuesday evening as 24-year-old Priyansh Arya lit up the Mullanpur stadium with a breathtaking century against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2025. Yet, it was team co-owner Preity Zinta’s jubilant reaction that truly stole the spotlight—she jumped in celebration, her joy palpable as Arya scripted history.

Arya, a left-handed batter hailing from Delhi, announced his arrival in grand fashion, smashing 103 runs off just 42 deliveries—a knock decorated with seven fours and nine massive sixes.

His blistering innings made him the second-fastest Indian to reach a century in IPL history, achieving the milestone in just 39 balls. Only Yusuf Pathan’s iconic 37-ball ton from 2010 remains ahead. As Arya raised his bat after clearing long-on for a six to complete his century, cameras zoomed in on the Punjab Kings camp, where an elated Preity Zinta leapt to her feet, clapping and cheering along with the roaring crowd.
Following Punjab Kings’ 18-run win, Preity Zinta caught up with the young star for a post-match interview.

"Aapko mai ek din pehle mili thi to aapne ek shabd nahi bola tha, ekdum silent the aur aapne itni zabardast game kheli, so how is it? [I met you a day before and you didn’t say a single word—you were completely silent. And then you played such an incredible game, so how does it feel?]" Preity asked Priyansh.

To which Arya replied with a smile: "Jab hum mile they to mujhe aapki baatein sunne mein maza aa rha tha isliye mai kuch bol nahi rha tha. Aur game ke baat karein to bahot achi feeling hai, out of the world feeling hai, top of the world feeling hai [When we met, I was really enjoying listening to you, that’s why I wasn’t saying much. And if we talk about the game, it feels amazing—like an out of the world feeling, a top of the world feeling]."

Arya’s innings wasn’t just another power-hitting show—it was the result of a rising journey that’s been turning heads for a while. He first made headlines in the Delhi Premier League, where he slammed six sixes in an over en route to a blazing 120-run knock.

That performance helped land him a ?3.8 crore IPL contract with Punjab Kings, a major leap from his base price of ?30 lakh.

Even before making his IPL debut, Arya was a standout performer in domestic cricket, having topped the run charts for Delhi in the 2024–25 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

A resurfaced video of Shah Rukh Khan is winning hearts online, showing the superstar open up about his admiration for the late Irrfan Khan. In the clip, Shah Rukh admits his decision to act in Priyadarshan’s 2009 film Billu Barber, later released simply as Billu, was driven by one reason: the chance to work with Irrfan.

Shah Rukh says in the video, “Irrfan bhai ke saath main ek film ki thi Billu. Ek chota sa hi scene tha hamara, lekin mujhe usmein unse bahut seekhne mila. Jab tak main aise kalakaron se seekhta nahi, tab tak main waisi films nahi kar paunga. Maine Billu khud ke lalach ke liye ki thi, ki mujhe unke saath khada hone ka aur unse seekhne ka mauka mile.”

Translated, he reflects: “I did a film called Billu with Irrfan bhai. We only had a small scene together, but I learned so much from him. Until I learn from such artists, I won’t be able to make films of that level. I did Billu out of my own greed—the greed to stand beside him and have the chance to learn.”

Released in 2009, Billu told the story of a small-town barber, played by Irrfan, whose life is turned upside down when his childhood friend, now a superstar (played by Shah Rukh), returns to the village. While the film had a modest box office run, critics widely praised Irrfan’s grounded and heartfelt performance, which became the film’s emotional anchor.
