If your baby cries without the phone, eats only with reels, or ignores you but reacts to cartoons — this is not normal development.

📱 Screen addiction in toddlers is real — and it looks like:
– No response to name
– Delayed speech
– Tantrums when device removed
– Poor sleep, poor eye contact
– ADHD-like hyperactivity

The brain under 2 years is plastic — it absorbs everything.
And screens hijack dopamine, replacing real learning with endless scrolling.

We are Dr Saroj Tiwari & Dr Rahul Verma, Pediatrician & parents— helping parents rebuild connection, speech, and play before it’s too late.

✨ Follow for pediatrician-backed advice, not myths.

This 22-month-old eats rice, dal, fish, egg, roti, and curd — all from the family plate, no purees, no powders, no battles.

Because eating is a learned skill.
If you always offer only smooth purées, your baby’s mouth never learns to chew.
If you allow mashed → lumpy → soft finger foods, you raise a confident eater who enjoys real food.

Start right, start real.
Join my Pediatrician-led “Starting Solids the Right Way” Workshop to learn how to introduce textures safely and prevent picky eating.

Are you overfeeding your baby without realizing it?
Most parents think “more milk = better growth” — but the truth is, too much formula can stress your baby’s tiny kidneys and gut.

Here’s the age-wise formula milk guide every parent should know:
👶 0–2 months → 60–90 ml per feed × 8 feeds
👶 2–4 months → 120 ml per feed × 6 feeds
👶 4–6 months → 150 ml per feed × 5 feeds
👶 6–9 months → 120–150 ml per feed × 4 feeds
👶 9–12 months → 90–120 ml per feed × 3 feeds

Quick rule: ≈ 150 ml × baby’s weight (kg) = total per day

❌ Extra scoops don’t mean extra nutrition
✅ Feed on hunger cues
✅ Track weight & growth, not bottle volume

I’m Dr Saroj Tiwari, Pediatrician & Mom — helping parents feed smart, not more.
Follow for pediatrician-approved feeding, weaning & growth tips made simple for Indian parents.

Most parents think starting solids is just about what to feed — but the real secret is how and when you introduce textures.
The 6–9 month window is when your baby’s brain and mouth are wired to learn chewing, tasting, and exploring.
Miss this phase — and you’re unknowingly training your baby to reject food later.

Join my Pediatrician-led Starting Solids Workshop to learn:
✅ When to start solids (the right time)
✅ How to introduce textures safely
✅ What to give first — mashed, lumpy, or finger foods
✅ How to prevent picky eating before it begins

Because the No.1 reason babies refuse food later isn’t appetite — it’s missing this window.

❌ “Inhalers will damage my child’s lungs…”
❌ “Budecort & Levolin make kids dependent…”
❌ “Asthma inhaler = lifelong addiction…”

🚨 These are the BIGGEST myths parents believe—and it’s putting children’s health at risk.

✅ FACT: Asthma inhalers (MDI like Budecort, Levolin) are SAFE, not habit-forming, and the best way to protect your child’s lungs.
✅ Inhalers don’t weaken the lungs—they actually prevent long-term lung damage by controlling asthma early.
✅ Every leading pediatric guideline (IAP, AAP, WHO) recommends them for safe, effective asthma treatment.

❌ Not every medicine is safe for kids — even if it’s “commonly used”!
Here are some medicines parents often give without realizing the risks 👇
💊 Ibugesic / Meftal for fever? ❌ Not first choice.
✅ Paracetamol remains safest.
💧 Zinc for diarrhea? ✔️ Scientifically proven.
🧴 Steroid creams? ❌ Only with doctor’s advice.
💨 Nebulizer at home? ⚠️ Often overused.
🧃 O2 for diarrhea? 🚫 Avoid — contains two antibiotics!

As pediatricians, we see this confusion daily. Let’s spread correct information so parents can make safer choices.

Always consult your child specialist before giving any medicine.

One Food — Two Futures
What you feed today decides what your child eats tomorrow. Every spoon you offer today is shaping your child’s tomorrow.

The way your baby experiences food in the first few months after 6 months — its texture, taste, and variety — builds not just eating habits, but lifelong confidence and independence.

This is called the Critical Window Period (6–9 months) — a short yet powerful time when your baby’s brain, taste buds, and chewing skills are learning together.
If we feed only powders or purées, they learn to swallow but not to chew.
If we introduce mashed and family food, they learn to explore, taste, and trust.

Because our goal isn’t to just fill tiny tummies —
it’s to raise confident, curious, and independent eaters who love real food, family meals, and life itself.

Your baby’s future doesn’t start at school.
👉 It starts at the dining table.
👉 It starts with what you feed today.

You’re storing breast milk wrong — and it could be unsafe for your baby!

Most moms think breast milk stays fresh all day, but even liquid gold has a shelf life.
If milk isn’t stored correctly, it can lose vital nutrients — or worse, grow bacteria that your baby can’t fight yet.

Here’s the scientific breast-milk storage timeline every mom must know:
Room Temperature (≤ 25 °C): up to 4 hours
Refrigerator (≤ 4 °C): up to 4 days
Freezer (≤ –18 °C): best by 6 months | max 12 months
Thawed milk: use within 24 hours, never refreeze
Leftover after feed: use within 2 hours, then discard

You worked hard to pump that milk — don’t let unsafe storage waste your effort or risk your baby’s health.
I’m Dr Saroj Tiwari, Pediatrician & Mom — helping mothers worldwide keep every drop safe, simple & scientific.

✨ Follow for real pediatric guidance on breastfeeding, pumping, and baby nutrition — no myths, only medicine + motherhood.
