Due to the haphazard construction activities for the ongoing road expansion in the Guwahati Airport Road, a speeding white Skoda car suddenly fell into a giant pothole which was dug in the centre of the road on the way from Airport to Dharapur in Dharapur Chariali today. The incident occurred at around 9:30 pm yesterday. Any casualties are yet to be ascertained till filing of this report. The vehicle number is RJ14CR0320. It is to be mentioned here that no sort of lighting is being arranged near the pothole which has led to this accident as per the witnesses.
