SSC GD Exam Cancelled at SITM Guwahati Center Due to Network Issues

GUWAHATI, May 4, 2026 – The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially cancelled the Constable (GD) examination scheduled for today, May 4, 2026, at the Scholars Institute of Technology and Management (SITM) in Gorchuk, Guwahati.

According to official reports from SSC NER, the examination was disrupted due to severe network connectivity problems and other unavoidable technical circumstances at the venue. This cancellation affects all candidates who were assigned to the SITM center for the day's shifts.

Key Updates for Affected Candidates:

Rescheduling: The SSC will announce a fresh date and venue shortly for the affected candidates.

Admit Cards: New admit cards or city intimation slips may be issued for the rescheduled exam. Candidates are advised to download them once they are available on the SSC official website.
