Manipur: 24-Hour Shutdown Called by UNC Begins Across Naga Areas

24-Hours total Shutdown called by the United Naga Council has come into froce from 6 am across all Naga areas across Manipur following the recovery of the bodies of the six Naga men. The organization has said the shutdown is being observed as a protest and a demand for justice for the victims.
It may be mentioned that the UNC has announced a 24-hour total shutdown across Naga-inhabited areas of Manipur from 6:00 AM on June 11 to 6:00 AM on June 12 following the recovery of the remains of six Naga civilians who were reportedly abducted on May 13 last. Impact of the shutdown is being seen in areas like Senapati where life has come to complete standstill.

Office of Naga People's Front Set on Fire in Manipur’s Senapati

News has come in that following the recovery of the bodies of the six Naga men, violence has erupted in Manipur. Now reports are coming in that the Manipur unit head office of the Naga People's Front has been vandalised and set on fire. The incidents have been reported from Liangmei Taphou village in Senapati district late last night. Visuals of the vandalising and burning of offices have surfaced online. However they have not been properly verified as of yet.

विश्व प्रसिद्ध काजीरंगा राष्ट्रीय उद्यान में वन्यजीवों के शिकार की बड़ी साजिश को वन विभाग ने वक्त रहते नाकाम कर दिया। गुप्त सूचना पर कार्रवाई करते हुए अगरातली रेंज से दो कथित शिकारियों को दबोचा गया। जानकारी के मुताबिक, दोनों आरोपी सुनियोजित तरीके से वन क्षेत्र में घुसकर शिकार की तैयारी में थे।

Manipur: 2 Villagers Killed, Houses Burnt in Fresh Violence in Kamjong

Fresh violence has erupted in Manipur's Kamjong district today following the recovery of mutilated mortal remains of 6 Naga men yesterday.
As per latest reports coming in, two prominent villagers of Kultuk Kuki Village in Kamjong District were killed in an attack by unidentified miscreants in the early morning today. One of the slain villagers was the village Church Head Deacon, while the other is the Youth Chairman.

Sources further reported that as many as 6 houses were burnt down and properties destroyed. Sources said the attackers opened indiscriminate fire before setting several houses ablaze, leaving villagers fleeing for safety.

असम के जामुगुड़ीहाट में दिनदहाड़े हुई एक सनसनीखेज घटना ने यात्रियों और स्थानीय लोगों में दहशत फैला दी। गुवाहाटी से लौट रही एक यात्री बस में अपराधी ने खुखरी लहराकर चालक और हैंडिमैन को धमकाया तथा डकैती की कोशिश की।
