The Naga Tribes people are a conglomeration of several tribes inhabiting the North East, with significant presence in Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and some small population in Assam.
More than 40 Naga tribes living in Northeast. Prominent Naga tribes include the Angami, Ao, A**l, Chakhesang, Chang, Chothe, Chiru, Chirr ,Inpui, Khiamniungan, Konyak, Liangmai, Lamkang, Lotha, Mao, Mon, Maram, Maring, Nocte, Phom, Pochury, Poumai, Rengma, Rongmei, Sumi, Sangtam, Tarao, Tangkhul, Tamgsa, Thangal, Wancho, Yimchunger, Zeme, etc.

The Tani Tribes is a group of tribes from the state of Arunachal Pradesh with certain common belief systems; primarily, their belief in Abotani as their primeval ancestor.
The group comprises :
Adi (include : Bokar-Palibo-Ramo,Bori,Karko,Komkar, Millang Minyong, Padam, Pangi, Pasi, Shimong, Ashing)

Zeliangrong people are one of the major indigenous mongoloid communities living in the tri-junction of Assam, Manipur and Nagaland in Northeast. The term "Zeliangrong" refers to the Zeme, Liangmai and Rongmei Naga tribes combined together. Zeliangrong is not a tribe but a union of tribes, or rather the apex tribe of the said tribes (Zeme, Liangmei, Rongmei).

They are considered to have reached the Brahmaputra valley via China and Myanmar and settled in the present day Assam and Arunachal Pradesh of NorthEast India.

There are six Tai ethnic groups live in Northeast, they are Tai Aiton, Tai Khamti,Tai Ahom, Tai Khamyang, Tai Phake, Tai Turung.

'KACHARI Tribe People"

Kachari is a generic term applied to a number of ethnic groups,predominantly in Assam,
speaking Tibeto-Burman languages or claiming a common ancestry.
The Kachari denotes tribes
like Bodo, Dimasa, Sonowal, Thengal, Mech,
Rabha, Lalung (tiwa), Rabha, Garo and Tripura tribes (debbarmas, reangs, jamatia, etc.), etc. Which have their common origin.

They are considered to have reached the
Brahmaputra valley via Tibet and settled in the
foothills of the eastern Himalayan range which
includes the whole of Assam and Tripura ,also found in Meghalaya,Nagaland of North-East.
