The entire Tashiding Senior Secondary School family proudly congratulates our Tashiding Senior Secondary School Staff Cricket Team on their remarkable victory in the 1st Inter Department Summer Cup Cricket Tournament 2026.

Competing against 14 teams from the Yuksam–Tashiding Constituency, our team demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and teamwork throughout the tournament. In a thrilling final, they defeated BAC Chongrang to emerge as the champions and lift the prestigious title.

This outstanding achievement reflects the spirit of unity, perseverance, and excellence that defines our institution. We are immensely proud of our champions and wish them continued success in all their future sporting endeavours.

Closing Ceremony of Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp 2026

The Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp 2026 concluded successfully at Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Tashiding with a memorable closing ceremony, celebrating seven days of learning, creativity, and cultural exploration.

The camp provided students with opportunities to explore Indian languages, traditions, art, music, dance, folk culture, local heritage, Indian Sign Language, and community interaction. Students participated with great enthusiasm, curiosity, and dedication throughout the programme.

Certificates of participation were awarded to the students, while certificates of appreciation were presented to the teachers and resource person for their valuable contribution and commitment towards promoting India’s rich linguistic heritage.

Students were encouraged to preserve their native languages, learn other Indian languages, and embrace the spirit of Unity in Diversity. Special emphasis was also given to the importance of Indian Sign Language in building an inclusive society.

The programme concluded with words of encouragement from the school authorities, appreciating the efforts of all students and teachers in making the camp a grand success.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY CELEBRATION REPORT

International Yoga Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in our school on 21st June 2026. The programme aimed to promote awareness about the importance of yoga for physical and mental well-being.

A total of 250 students, 30 teachers, 10 SMC members, and 10 parents participated in the event. The session began with a brief introduction to the significance of International Yoga Day, followed by the practice of various yoga asanas and breathing exercises under proper guidance.

All participants actively took part in the yoga session and appreciated the benefits of yoga in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The programme concluded successfully with a vote of thanks to everyone for their participation and support.

BHARATIYA BHASHA SUMMER CAMP REPORT – DAY 1 & DAY 2

Date: 19th–20th June 2026
Venue: Tashiding Senior Secondary School

The Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp was successfully conducted on 19th and 20th June 2026 at Tashiding Senior Secondary School during the morning assembly. The programme was attended by the respected Principal Sir, teachers, and students.

The sessions were conducted by Special Educator Miss Manuka Rai with the objective of promoting inclusive communication through Indian Sign Language (ISL).

Day 1 (19th June 2026):
The theme of the session was “Basic Greetings and Expressions through Sign Language.” Students were introduced to common greetings and expressions such as “Good Morning,” “Thank You,” “Please,” and “How Are You?” through sign language. Miss Rai demonstrated the correct hand movements and encouraged active participation from the students.

Day 2 (20th June 2026):
The session focused on “Self-Introduction and Asking Questions through Indian Sign Language.” Students learned how to introduce themselves and ask simple questions using ISL. The activities were interactive and helped students gain confidence in using sign language for basic communication.

The programme aimed to create awareness about the importance of sign language and to foster respect for individuals with hearing and speech impairments. The sessions were informative, engaging, and highly appreciated by both students and teachers.

Our respected Principal Sir encouraged the students to learn and appreciate different forms of communication and commended the efforts of Miss Manuka Rai for successfully conducting the sessions.

The first two days of the Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp concluded with enthusiastic participation from all present and laid a strong foundation for the upcoming activities of the camp.
