World Environment Day was observed at 24 Begha GPU with a series of day-wise activities under the theme "Himalayan Cleanup (SBMG)." The programme aimed to promote environmental conservation, cleanliness, waste management, and community responsibility towards protecting natural resources.
The event highlighted the importance of maintaining a pollution-free Himalayan ecosystem and strengthening the objectives of Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen).
The programme was conducted in the presence of the president,Vice President, Panchayat Members, AD(PRI),Jr VAAs,PDA local representatives, and community members, whose active participation contributed to the success of the initiative.
